ABSTRAK

Pada pembelajaran matematika terdapat siswa kelas IV mengalami kesulitan belajar.


Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kesulitan-kesulitan belajar yang dialami siswa,
mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kesulitan belajar, yang dialami siswa kelas IV
SDN 100312 Pargarutan Jae.

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian diskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek


dalam penelitian ini adalah 8 siswa kelas IV SDN 100312 Pargarutan Jae yang berkesulitan
belajar matematika, guru kelas dan juga wali murid. Teknik pengumpulan data mengunakan
teknik wawancara, observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Analisis data penelitian ini mengunakan
Interactive Analysis Model. Dalam memperoleh keabsahan data peneliti melakukan uji
credibility dan confirmability. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa berkesulitan
belajar, pada pokok bahsan perkalian bulat, perkalihan pecahan dan bangun ruang sederhana.
Kesulitan yang dialami siswa dalam belajar matematika yaitu kesulitan memahami penjelasan
dan maksud soal, kesulitan memahami konsep, kesulitan dalam memahami simbol dan
kesulitan dalam perhitungan.

Faktor yang mempengaruhi kesulitan belajar adalah faktor internal diantaranya,


kecerdasan rendah, sikap kurang memperhatikan pembelajaran, minat belajar rendah, dan
motivasi belajar rendah. Faktor eksternal diantaranya kurangnya perhatian orangtua, suasana
belajar di rumah kurang kondusif, kondisi lingkungan, pengaruh media sosial, banyak
bermain dengan teman, penyajian materi pembelajaran kurang menarik, metode pembelajaran
kurang bervariasi, jarangnya media pembelajaran digunakan, dan sarana pembelajaran belum
lengkap. Rekomendasi pemecahan masalah pada siswa berkesulitan belajar matematika yang
berasal dari dalam diri siswa dilakukan dengan menciptakan conditional yang menarik,
kesulitan yang berasal dari sistem pembelajaran dan metode belajar dilakukan dengan
melakukan melakukan remedial teaching dan mengunakan metode yang bervariatif seperti
bernyanyi sambil berhitung sedangkan kesulitan yang berasal dari luar diri siswa perlu
dilakukan seperti melengkapi sarana dan prasarana.

DIAGNOSIS KESULITAN BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA TERKHUSUS


DIBIDANG PERKALIAN SISWA KELAS IV SDN 100312 PARGARUTAN JAE
ABSTRAK

In learning mathematics there are fourth grade students experiencing learning


difficulties. The purpose of this study was to determine the learning difficulties experienced
by students, to determine the factors that affect learning difficulties experienced by fourth
grade students at SDN 100312 Pargarutan Jae.
This research is adescriptive research with a qualitative approach. The subjects in
this study were 8 grade IV students at SDN 100312 Pargarutan Jae who had difficulty
learning mathematics, class teachers and also student guardians. Data collection techniques
using interviews, observation, tests and documentation. This research data analysis uses the
Interactive Analysis Model. In obtaining the validity of the data, the researcher conducted a
credibility and confirmability test. The results showed that students had learning difficulties,
on the subject of integer multiplication, multiplication of fractions and simple geometric
shapes. The difficulties experienced by students in learning mathematics are difficulty
understanding the explanation and intent of the questions, difficulty understanding concepts,
difficulty understanding symbols and difficulties in calculations.
Factors that influence learning difficulties are internal factors including low
intelligence, less attention to learning, low interest in learning, and low learning motivation.
External factors include the lack of parental attention, the learning atmosphere at home is not
conducive, environmental conditions, the influence of social media, playing a lot with
friends, the presentation of learning material is less attractive, learning methods are less
varied, learning media is rarely used, and learning facilities are incomplete.
Recommendations for solving problems for students with learning difficulties in mathematics
originating from within students are carried out by creating interesting conditionals,
difficulties originating from the learning system and learning methods are carried out by
conducting remedial teaching and using varied methods such as singing while counting while
difficulties originating from students need to be done such as completing facilities and
infrastructure.
