ABSTRAK

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa pada mata
pelajaran IPA dengan menggunakan menggunakan Media Card Sort dan
pembelajaran tanpa Media Card Sort pada Materi Sumber Energi kelas IV SD
Negeri No. 101820 Pancur Batu. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian
kuantitatif dengan tipe eksperimen dan jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi
eksperimen menggunakan desain nonequivalent control group design dan
instrument penelitian ini adalah tes. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini
adalah kelas IV yang terdiri dari kelas IVA dan IVB yang berjumlah 40 orang
terdiri dari 20 orang kelas VA sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 20 orang kelas VB
sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil nilai rata-rata tes akhir yang diperoleh kelas IVA 81
yakni kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan Media Card Sort dan kelas IVB 55
yakni kelas kontrol. Tabel frekuensi nilai test akhir kelas eksperimen dan kelas
kontrol dapat di distribusikan dalam tabel frekuensi absolute dan frekuensi
relative kemudian digambarkan kedalam bentuk histogram untuk mengetahui
hasil belajar siswa setelah dilaksanakan pembelajaran dengan Media Card Sort
dikelas eksperimen dan pembelajaran tanpa Media Card Sort kelas kontrol.
Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji independen antara dua faktor dengan taraf
signifikan a = 0,05 dan dk = (2-1)(3-1)=2 di dapat x 2 (0,95)(2) =5,99. Dari hasil
pengujian hipotesis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh signifikan
penggunaan media Card Sort yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik
di kelas V SDN No. 101820 Pancur Batu, Kecamatan Pancur Batu, yang artinya
Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak.

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to determine student learning outcomes in science
subjects by using Media Card Sort and learning without Media Card Sort on
Energy Source Materials for class IV SD Negeri No. 101820 Stone Pancur. The
method in this study is a quantitative research with an experimental type and this
type of research is a quasi-experimental using a nonequivalent control group
design and the research instrument is a test. The sample used in this study was
class IV which consisted of class IVA and IVB, totaling 40 people consisting of 20
people in class VA as the experimental class and 20 people in class VB as the
control class. The results of the average final test score were obtained by class
IVA 81, namely the experimental class using Media Card Sort and class IVB 55,
namely the control class. The frequency table of final test scores for the
experimental class and control class can be distributed in absolute frequency
tables and relative frequencies then depicted in the form of a histogram to
determine student learning outcomes after learning with Media Card Sort in the
experimental class and learning without Media Card Sort in the control class.
Hypothesis testing uses an independent test between two factors with a significant
level of a = 0.05 and dk = (2-1)(3-1)=2 to get x2 (0.95)(2) = 5.99. From the
results of testing the data hypothesis, it can be concluded that there is a
significant influence on the use of Card Sort media which is significant on the
learning outcomes of students in class V SDN No. 101820 Pancur Batu, Pancur
Batu District, which means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected.
