C. Tujuan Pembelajaran
 Setelah mengamati 2 buah teks prosedur sederhana, siswa dapat
mengidenrifikasi fungsi sosial, struktur teks, unsur kebahasaan dari teks
prosedur dengan tepat.
 Setelah membaca dan mengamati sebuah teks prosedur, siswa dapat
menentukan kata dan ungkapan kunci dalam teks prosedur kemudian membuat
sebuah kalimat secara tertulis menggunakan kata dan ungkapan kunci dalam
teks prosedur dengan baik.
 Diberikan beberapa topik tentang teks prosedur, siswa dapat membuat sebuah
teks prosedur sederhana dengan susunan struktur dan tata Bahasa dengan
benar.

G. Materi Pembelajaran
Procedure Text
1. Definition
Procedure text is text that contains commands or steps in doing something. In other
words, procedure text is made to illustrate how something is done through sequential
steps.

2. Procedure Text Characteristics

The following are the characteristics of procedure text.
- Using the simple present tense
- Using imperative sentences (command sentences). Example: add two spoons, cook
with low heat, blend the spices, etc.
- Use action verbs. Example: add, put, turn.
- Using numbering. Example: first, second, third.
- Using conjunctions (connecting words). Example: next, then, while.
- Using adverbs (adverbs) to clarify the stages that have been passed. Example:
correctly, carefully, slowly, for 2 minutes, etc.

3. Types of Procedure Text

Here are the types of procedure text that you need to know.
- Procedure text that describes how to operate/use something. For example, how to
use a camera, how to use a rice cooker.
- Procedure text that provides instructions in carrying out certain activities. For
example, how to play guitar, how to make a brownie.
- Procedure text relating to tips for living life. For example, how to be successful in
life, how to make yourself happy.

4. Procedure Text Structure

Here is the structure of the procedure text.
- Goal/Aim : contains the intent and purpose of the related procedure text.
- Materials: contains the materials needed to perform the stages of a procedure text.
- Steps : a list of sequential steps to complete the steps of the procedure text.
- Result : the result of the steps that have been carried out.
Example :
How to Make Oreo Vanilla Ice Cream Milkshake
A milkshake is a sweet, cold beverage which is usually made from milk, ice cream, or
iced milk, and flavorings or sweeteners, chocolate sauce, fruit syrup or another
addition (oreo, etc). If you want to make oreo vanilla ice cream milkshake, then this is
the way how to make it. The ingredients that you need to make an oreo vanilla ice
cream milkshake are :
- 8 Oreo cookies
- 4 Vanilla ice cream balls
- 300 ml (10oz) of whole milk
- Whipped cream, for garnish
- Oreo cookie crumbs, for garnish
- 2 Mini Oreo cookies, for garnish
The tools that you need to make an oreo vanilla ice cream milkshake are :
- Blender
Now, follow these steps to make a milkshake.
1. Start by placing the vanilla ice cream into the blender container
2. Then add cold milk and the Oreo Cookies.
3. Put the lid on the blender and blend for about 30 seconds or until you desired
consistency is reached.
4. Pour it into the glass.
5. Top with whipped cream and oreo cookie crumbs
6. Place a mini oreo on top of each milkshake, and serve immediately.
If you do not have a blender, you may substitute with a mixer, but be careful as it
could be messy. And if you do not have anything else to mix, just use a spoon, but let
the ice cream thaw first to make the milkshake easier to mix. Enjoy your milkshake.

How to Make Bregedel Tempe (for 1-4)
The ingredients :
-150 g tempe
-1 tablespoon flour
-1 egg
-1 spoon Royco
-1 cup vegetable oil for frying
Here are the instructions :
-Mash the tempe with a fork.
-Put the mashed tempe in a bowl and mix with the flour and Royco, followed by an
egg.
-Shape the tempe into the size of a golf ball and flatten a little with a fork.
-Heat the vegetable oil in a medium flame. When the oil is hot, drop the tempe into
the oil, five or six at a time.
-Fry until golden brown on both sides, drain on absorbent paper and serve hot with
chili or sauce.

How to Make Flannel Rose Ring (for 5-10)
Ingridients :
-Red Flannel around 10×10 cm
-Scissors

-Cut round the flannel about 5×3 cm and make spiral in it.
-Glue each side of spiral flannel.
-Twist it from central until the end (look like a rose).
-Cut the flannel in a rectangle (the size depend on your finger).
