 Presentation Skill
• Abilities one needs in order to deliver engaging, informative,
transformative, educational, enlightening, and/or instructive
presentations. Kemampuan yang dibutuhkan untuk menyampaikan presentasi yang menarik, informatif, transformatif,
mendidik, mencerahkan, dan/atau instruktif.

• Speech vs Presentation:
– Speech: plain spoken word with read or delivered based on a written
draft – Pidato: kata yang diucapkan biasa dengan membaca atau disampaikan berdasarkan draf tertulis
– Presentasi menjadi kreatif dengan interaksi, video, slide, dll.
– Presentation gets creative with interaction, videos, slides, etc.
• Central to effective presentation skills are public speaking,
tone of voice, body language, creativity, and delivery.
Keterampilan presentasi yang penting adalah berbicara di depan umum, nada suara, bahasa tubuh, kreativitas, dan penyampaian.
 Type of Presentation
• Persuasive Diberikan untuk menggugah audiens untuk membuat keputusan yang diharapkan oleh presenter. Mantan. pendiri
startup memberikan presentasi mendapatkan investasi.

– Given to arouse the audience to make the decision which the presenter
hopes for. Ex. startup founder delivering a presentation getting investment.
• Instructional Diberikan untuk memandu audiens tentang prosedur, kebijakan, hukum baru, dll. Ex. seorang manajer SDM
menginstruksikan karyawan baru tentang peraturan perusahaan.
– Given to guide the audience on a new procedure, policy, law, etc. Ex. an HR
manager instruct new employees on the rules of the company.
• Informative Berikan informasi tentang prosedur baru, manfaat, pengetahuan, dll. Ex. seorang manajer memberikan
informasi tentang persyaratan bonus baru.

– Give information about a new procedure, benefit, knowledge, etc.

Ex. a manager gives information about the new bonus requirements.
Mirip dengan presentasi persuasif, tetapi pembicara bertujuan untuk meningkatkan moral atau
• Inspirational meningkatkan kebanggaan merek. Mantan. kesimpulan meriah dari pembicara TED Talk saat mereka
mengakhiri pidatonya.
– Similar to persuasive presentations, but the speaker aims to boost
morale or increase brand pride. Ex. the rousing conclusion of a TED
Talk speaker as they wrap up their speech.
 Delivering Method
• Extemporaneous presentations
– Deliver without any preparation, though you plan it
beforehand. Kirim tanpa persiapan apa pun, meskipun Anda merencanakannya sebelumnya.
• Memorized presentations
– Deliver and learn by heart. Hard to get right, but
compelling if it is! Menyampaikan dan belajar dengan hati. Sulit untuk melakukannya dengan benar, tetapi
menarik jika benar!

• Manuscript presentations
– Deliver from a pre-written script or notes. Kirim dari skrip atau catatan yang
telah ditulis sebelumnya.

• Impromptu presentations
– Similar to extemporaneous, but you decide on and
