Dinda Sekar Arum Prayoga : Analisis Tokoh Utama Pada Novel “Selamat Tinggal”
Karya Tere Liye Berdasarkan Id, Ego Dan Superego Pada Teori Kepribadian Sigmund
Freud Dan Implikasinya Terhadap Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Di SMA.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis aspek psikologi tokoh utama novel Selamat
Tinggal karya Tere Liye berdasarkan teori kepribadian Sigmund Freud dan mendeskripsikan
implikasi hasil penelitian aspek psikologi berdasarkan teori kepribadian Sigmund Freud pada
novel Selamat Tinggal karya Tere Liye, terhadap pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMA.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif,
artinya mengungkapkan kepribadian tokoh utama yang ada dalam novel Selamat Tinggal
karya Tere Liye. Penerapan metode kualitatif ini bersifat deskriptif yang berarti data yang
dihasilkan berupa kata-kata dalam bentuk kutipan-kutipan yang kemudian di analisis dalam
bentuk deskripsi kalimat.
Teknik pengumpulan data ini berupa teknik dokumen dengan menganalisis novel Selamat
Tinggal karya Tere Liye. Pengecekkan keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan
metode triangulasi. Id, Ego, dan Superego menjadi fokus penelitian yang berasal dari teori
kepribadian Sigmund Freud.
Dari hasil penelitian tersebut ditemukan sebanyak 51 data keseluruhan, data Id ditemukan
sebanyak 28%, data Ego di temukan sebanyak 33% dan data Superego ditemukan sebanyak
39%. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat diperoleh hasil penelitian yaitu
aspek Superego yang paling mendominasi tokoh utama dalam novel Selamat Tinggal.

 Abstract

The analysis of the main character in the Tere Liye Novel’s “Goodbye” Based on Id, Ego and
Superego in sigmund Freud’s theory of personalities and its implications of Indonesian studies
in senior high school.

The purpose of this research was to identify the psychological aspect of main character in the Tere
Liye Novel’s “Goodbye” based on sigmund Freud’s theory of personality and to describe the
implications of the psychological aspect of research based on the theory of sigmund Freud in the Tere
Liye Novel’s “Goodbye”of Indonesian studies in senior high school.The research method used in this
research is a qualitative method,, This method reveals the personality of the main character in the
Tere Liye Novel’s “Goodbye” . The application of these qualitative methods is descriptive, which
means the data generated in words from quotations then will be analyzed in sentence descriptions.The
researcher collects the data with collection technique by analyzing Tere Liye Novel’s “Goodbye”. The
validity of the data in this research used the method of triangulation. Id, ego and superego become the
focus of research based on sigmund Freud’s theory of personality.Based on the research result, the
researcher found 51 general data, in id aspect data found was 28%,in ego aspect data found was 33%
and superego aspect data found was 39%. Furthermore, the researcher has a conclusion that the aspect
of superego becomes the most dominant aspect of the main character in the Tere Liye Novel’s
“Goodbye”
