Perwakilan Bursa Efek Indonesia Denpasar. Teknik analisis menggunakan metode
statistik regresi linier berganda.

Abstract
The number of investors in the last five years especially in capital market
instruments has increased. This shows that investment decisions are increasing.
Individual investment decisions are driven by rational and irrational factors of each
investor. Therefore the research was conducted related to the influence of financial
literacy, illusion of control, regret aversion bias and risk tolerance towards investment
decisions in the capital market. Case studies were carried out on investors registered at
the Indonesia Stock Exchange Representative Office in Denpasar. The analysis
technique uses multiple linear regression statistical methods. The population in this study
is investors domiciled in Denpasar with a sample of 100 respondents. The results
showed a positive and significant influence of financial literacy and illusion of control
variables on investment decisions. Which means that the higher level of literacy and
illusion of control from investors will influence the increasing investment decisions.
Variable regret aversion bias shows the results of a negative and insignificant effect.
Which means investors who experience regret aversion will have an impact on
decreasing investment decisions. It's just that not every respondent experiences the
same effect depending on the acceptance of regret from each respondent. The risk
tolerance variable indicates a positive and insignificant influence. Which means the
higher risk tolerance from investors will lead to increased investment decisions.
However, the insignificant results indicate that not all respondents experienced the exact
same effect depending on the risk preferences of each respondent.
