1. There are 2 type of auction that often used in Indonesia, there are dutch auction and
English auction. Some seller mostly used English auction to sell their product. This is
because in english auction, seller set the base price first, so the buyer bid the price.
While, the difference between english auction and dutch auction is when the buyer can
bid the price, in ducth auction system, a high asking price is set after which the seller
keeps on lowering the price until someone is ready to buy. But, in english auction
system, the seller sets a base price and then the interested buyers start bidding. The
amount goes higher with every bid and when there are no more bids, the item is sold.

2. A fall in the exchange rate is known as a depreciation in the exchange rate (or
devaluation in a fixed exchange rate system). It means the currency is worth less
compared to other countries. There are some impact when the exhange rate has falling
continuosly:
a. Export activity will be increase, this situation caused by the price in export activity
be cheaper ; while import activity will be decrease
b. Country development will be slowly
c. Our people will be hard to invest on foreign project, because exchange rate is more
expensive

3. Market failures in pandemic occured because an externality factor which is there’s a

Pandemic that make all sector in the country experiencing setbacks. The externality
factor can makes consumption and production activity unbalanced.
One example of market failures during this pandemic is tourism sector experiencing
seatbacks, this is because when the pandemic happen, all people around the world
should have to be stayed in their house, the government makes a rule to all tourism
place to close their place temporary. This case make production of tourism activity be
down and it can makes one of economic income of Indonesia is being stagnant

4. Outsourcing is very beneficial for the company, because of some reason:

a. Increase the efficiency
The company can be focused on their goal on the competition
b. Optional Scalability
Maximum output can be achieved and production guaranteed – even during
seasonal or non-operational capacity fluctuations.
c. Increase the quality
Outsourcing often results in quality improvements. For example, in the manufacture
of a good factory or workshop, it can improve product quality.
