Having learned the materials in Session 2, now please discuss the following questions.

1. Why is it important to use proper grammar, punctuation and capitalization in English writing? 
2. Find a picture of an office room online. Then, write a descriptive paragraph consisting 4-5
sentences containing:


o an introductory sentence,
o location of the office,
o interesting features of the office, and
o what you feel about the office.

 Please attach the image after you write the paragraph.

For question 1, you can answer either in English or Indonesian.

1. Menurut saya , mengapa pengguaan tata bahasa, tanda baca, dan kapitalisasi dalam bahasa
inggris. Karena Pengunaan tata bahasa, tanda baca, dan kapitalisasi yang tepat dalam
penulisan bahasa Inggris sangat penting agar dapat membentuk kalimat dengan benar.
Pembentukan kalimat bahasa Inggris yang tepat memudahkan pemahaman terhadap maksud
serta arti dari kalimat tersebut.

Grammar atau tata bahasa merupakan komponen penting dari suatu bahasa sebab tata

bahasa mempelajari kaidah-kaidah yang mengatur penggunaan bahasa. Apabila tidak dipelajari,
maka orang hanya akan berbicara namun tidak sistematis dan akan kurang bisa dimengerti oleh
orang lain. Selanjutnya tanda baca itu berperan menunjukkan sebuah struktur tulisan, intonasi, dan
jeda pada saat pembacaan dan tujuan penggunaan kapitalisasi juga penting untuk membantu
menunjukkan kepada pembaca pentingnya kata-kata yang berbeda. Kapitalisasi bisa menunjukkan
bahwa suatu kata berbeda dari kata yang lain.
2. Halo, saya bekerja di salah satu sekolah swasta yang terletak di Kota Magelang . Sekolah tempat
saya bekerja ini memiliki luas sekitar 1,5 hektar area, dengan setiap bangunannya terdiri dari 2
lantai.
 Jabatan saya saat ini sebagai Kepala Tata Usaha. Ruangan tempat saya bekerja terletak di
samping ruang kepala sekolah. Saya selalu menjaga kebersihan dan kerapian ruangan tempat
saya setiap hari bekerja, saya pun memberikan hiasan meja seperti tanaman kecil agar lebih
terlihat menarik dan segar. itu yang membuat saya merasa semangat dan senang bekerja.Terima

1. In my opinion, why use grammar, punctuation, and capitalization in English. Because the use of
proper grammar, punctuation, and capitalization in writing English is very important in order to form
sentences correctly. The formation of the right English sentence makes it easier to understand the
meaning and meaning of the sentence.

Grammar or grammar is an important component of a language because grammar studies the

rules that govern the use of language. If it is not studied, people will only speak but not
systematically and will be less understood by others. Furthermore, punctuation plays a role in
showing a writing structure, intonation, and pauses when reading and the purpose of using

2. Hello, I work in a private school located in Magelang City. The school where I work has an area
