1. Right lateral recumbency lebih sering

digunakan untuk mengamati ujung limpa
2. Left lateral recumbency untuk memindahkan
gas dalam lambung ke pylorus dan
duoedenum
3. Standar pandang decubitus lateral dengan
posisi hewan berdiri dan arah sinar X
horizontal untuk deteksi cairan peritonium
 DV DAN VD POSISI

1. VD lebih baik daripada DV

2. DV cenderung menekan organ viscera (perpindahan
area organ)
3. Posisi VD akan membantu penyebaran luas normal
organ-organ dalam rongga abdomen
4. Posisi kaki depan sekranial mungkin dan kaki
belakang secaudal mungkin

1. Letak cecum di kanan midline (VD View) dan central abdomen (L View)
2. Dog: membentuk huruf “C”
3. Cat : Sangat kecil dan biasanya tidak terlihat
4. Colon Ascending mengarah ke kanan midline
5. Colon melintang flexure hepatic, ascending colon turun ke kiri dan menerus
mengikuti garis midline ke kiri
6. Colon desending pada flexure limpa, turun ke kaudal dan mengikuti pelvic
canal
