PENGGUNAAN THERE IS DAN THERE ARE

Kata there is dan there are biasanya digunakan dalam

kalimat untuk menunjukkan letak sebuah benda atau
beberapa benda. There is artinya ada terdapat sebuah
benda dan there are berarti ada terdapat beberapa benda.
There is dan there are memiliki pola kalimat Simple
Present Tense atau pola kalimat waktu sekarang.
Penggunaan there is dan there are dalam sebuah kalimat
biasanya diikuti dengan:
 Adjective (kata sifat): long, big, small, red,
square, dan lainnya.
 Noun (kata benda): hair, book, bottle, television,
frame, dan lain-lain.
 Number (angka): one, two, three, four, five, dan
sebagainya.
 Quantifier (jumlah): some, any, several, many,
much, few, dan lain-lain.
 Article (artikel): a, an, the.
 Preposition of place (kata keterangan tempat):

lain.
