A. Pendahuluan

tentang petunjuk arah (direction) sesuai dengan konteks penggunaannya di dunia kerja

sederhana, yang melibatkan tindakan memberi dan meminta informasi tentang petunjuk

C. Uraian Materi
1. Definition
Asking for direction adalah ekspresi yang digunakan sebagai cara untuk
mengajukan sebuah pertanyaan tentang letak sebuah tempat. Sedangkan giving
direction adalah memberi petunjuk arah untuk menuju suatu tempat.

2. Contoh ekspresi yang digunakan untuk asking for and giving

direction.

D. Rangkuman

Expressing asking for and giving direction adalah ungkapan yang digunakan untuk
menanyakan dan menjelaskan tentang letak suatu tempat dengan penjelasan cara
mencapai tempat tujuan tersebut. Adapun fokus dari pembelajaran pada materi ini
yaitu bagaimana cara untuk menanyakan letak suatu tempat dan menjelaskan
petunjuk arah untuk mencapai tempat tersebut. Di dalam materi ini juga dijelaskan
beberapa unsur bahasa yang terkait dengan asking for and giving direction, yaitu
preposisi, kata kerja, vocabularies berkaitan dengan land marks, dan adverb of
sequence.
