A. One way to deal with the embarrassment is by writing it. By writing the embarrassing
in the form of an essay, people can release depression, anxiety, and insecurity. They
can write the feeling when the embarrassing moment happened to them. Worries
and other feelings that annoy them can be written to heal to heal their hurt. The
following is an example of the text.
They news of my predicament spread like wild fire throughout school. I was truly
the talk of the town. I felt like I could either walk around feeling perpetually self-
conscious and embarrassed or I could turn the situation round, perhaps even to
my advantage. I remembered my mother's words that 'if you can't beat them, join
them'. So I decided to make fun of myself, to laugh at myself too. It works.
Everyone got bored after a while and nobody teased me after that.
D. Besides learning the generic structure, you must learn the language
features of the recount text. The features are as follows.
