This research aims to find out: 1) To find out the pattern of interpersonal
communication between Head master and teachers verbally at MI Al-Akbar,
Sidomulyo Village, Air Kumbang District, Banyuasin Regency, Academic Year
2022/2023. 2) To determine the pattern of interpersonal communication between
Madrasah Heads and teachers in writing at MI Al-Akbar, Sidomulyo Village, Air
Kumbang District, Banyuasin Regency, Academic Year 2022/2023. 3) To
determine the effectiveness of the interpersonal communication patterns of the
Madrasah Head at MI Al-Akbar, Sidomulyo Village, Air Kumbang District,
Banyuasin Regency. This research is descriptive research with a qualitative
approach, with data sources from school principals and teachers at MI Al-Akbar,
Sidomulyo Village, Air Kumbang District, Banyuasin Regency, Academic Year
2022/2023. Researchers used observation, interviews and documentation methods
to collect the data needed in this research. The data analysis technique used is
interactive analysis which includes: data reduction, data presentation and drawing
conclusions.From the research results, it is known that the interpersonal
communication patterns at MI Al-Akbar, Sidomulyo Village, Air Kumbang
District, Banyuasin Regency for the 2022/2023 Academic Year include: (1)
Interpersonal communication patterns of the Madrasah Head with teachers verbally
at MI Al-Akbar, Sidomulyo Village, Air Kumbang District Banyuasin Regency The
verbal communication pattern of the head of the madarasah is carried out face to
face with the teacher in one direction through greetings, direct direction both in
meetings and in the daily work environment in an effort to improve teacher
performance. (2) The communication pattern of the madrasa head in writing is
carried out through written means such as official letters which are used for teachers
when there are routine meetings. Apart from official letters, written
communications are also delivered using applications such as SMS and Whatsapp.
(3) The effectiveness of the interpersonal communication patterns of madrasa heads
at MI Al-Akbar, Sidomulyo Village, Air Kumbang District, Banyuasin Regency.
The interpersonal communication carried out by the head master through the
dimensions of effective interpersonal communication (openness, empathy, support,
positive declarations/positivity, equality, audibility, and humility) has been quite
effective. In terms of implementation, the oral communication pattern is more
effectively implemented. This is because the pattern of oral communication is easier
to understand, is open, and there is reciprocity between the head of the madrasah as
the transmitter of communication to the teacher as the recipient of information.
