SYEKH NURUDDIN AR-RA

AN lengkap Nur al-Din Muh
Nuruddin Ar-Raniri memiliki nama
ammad ibn Ali Hasanji ibn Muhammad Hamid ar-Raniri al-
Quraisy Asy-Syafi‟i. ia dipanggil Ranir karena dilahirkan di
daerah Ranir kota pelabuhan tua di pantai Gujarat (India).
Nurridin ar-Raniri meninggal dunia pada tanggal 22 Dzulhijj
ah 1096 H/21 September 1685 M di India. dalam bidang p
endidikan Nuruddin mengikuti langkah keluarganya. Nurud
din sendiri adalah seorang sarjana India. Mula-mula ia bela
jar ilmu agama di kota Ranir (kota kelahirannya), lalu ia me
lanjutkan pendidikannya ke wilayah Hadramaut. ia pergi k
e Makkah pada tahun 1030 H/1582 M untuk melaksanakan
ibadah haji dan ziarah ke Madinah. elah itu, ia kembali pul
ang ke India.
 KARYA ILMIAH
1. Al-Şhirāţh al-Mustāqīm (jalan yang lurus). Kitab ini berisi ajaran te
ntang ibadat: sembahyang, puasa, zakat, haji, dan juga tentang huku
m kurban, berburu, hukum halal dan haram dalam hal makanan.
2. Durrat al-Farāiď bi Syarh al-„Aqā‟id (intan/Mutiara kewajiban-kew
ajiban dalam Penerangan Akidah).
Kitab ini tentang akidah
3. Hidāyat al-Ḥabīb fī al-Targīb wa‟l-Tarḩīb (Petunjuk yang MeMenci
ntai dalam Kehendak dan Kekuasa). Kitab ini berisi tentang hadits y
ang berjumlah 831 hadits, dalam bahasa Arab dan Melayu.
4. Bustān al-Salāthῑn fī żikr al-Awwalῑn wa‟l-Ākhirīn (Taman Para Raj
a dalam Menyatakan Permulaan dan Kesudahan Setiap kejadian). Ki
tab sejarah yang merupakan karya Nuruddin Ar--Raniri.
 PEMIKIRAN - PEMIKIRAN
1. Tentang Tuhan. Pendirian Ar-Raniry dalam masalah ketuhanan pad
a umumnya bersifat kompromis . Ia berupaya menyatukan paham mut
akallimin dengan paham para sufi yang diwakili Ibn ‘Arabi.
2. Tentang Alam. Ar-Raniry berpendapat bahwa alam ini diciptakan All
ah melalui tajalli. Ia menolak teori al-faidh (emanasi) . Al-Farabi karena
akan membawa kepada pengakuan bahwa alam ini qadim sehingga d
apat jatuh kepada kemusrikan.
3. Tentang Manusia. Menurut Ar-Raniry merupakan, makhluk Allah yan
g paling sempurna di dunia ini. Sebab, merupakan khalifah Allah di bu
mi yang dijadikan sesuai citra-Nya.
4. Wujudiyyah. Inti ajaran wujudiyyah, menurut Ar-Raniry, berpusat pa
da wahdat al- wujud (kemanunggalan Allah dengan alam.

SYAIKH ABDUS SHAMAD AL-PA
LIMBANI
 KEHIDUPAN
Syaikh Abdus Shamad al-Palimbani adalah seorang tokoh
sufi penulis kitab-kitab sufi yang berasal dari Palem
bang. Abdus Shamad lahir pada 1116 H (1704) M dan waf
at pada 1203 H (1789 M) dalam usia 85 tahun, di Palem
bang. Ulama Nusantara yang sangat populer dan menjadi
penghulu ulama tasawuf. Ayahnya adalah seorang Sayid
dari San’a, Yaman. Ia dikirim ayahnya ke Timur Tenga
h untuk belajar. Di antara ulama sezaman yang sempat
bertemu dengan beliau adalah: Syaikh Muhammad Arsyad
al-Banjari, Abdul Wahab Bugis, Abdurrahman Bugis alBa
tawi dan Daud al-Tatani. Semasa hidup, Syekh Abdus Sh
omad tidak hanya aktif dalam berdakwah ke berbagai da
erah di Timur Tengah, tetapi juga menjadi seorang pen
ulis yang produktif.

1. Zahratul Murid fi Bayani Kalimatit Tauhid, 1178 H/1764 M.
2. Risalah Pada Menyatakan Sebab Yang Diharamkan Bagi Nikah,
1179 H/1765 M.

 PEMIKIRAN PEMIKIRAN
1. Ibadah dengan ikhlas adalah syarat diterimanya amal seoran
g hamba.Ada tiga tingkatan derajat ikhlas. (a) ibadah yang dilak
ukan semata-mata guna meraih keredhaaan Allah, bukan meng
harapkan surga , juga tidak karena takut dengan siksa neraka
(b) ibadah yang dilakukan karena mencari pahala dan surga ata
u takut dari siksaNya.
2. mengajak manusia untuk memperbanyak zikir.Pada dasarny
a zikir diharapkan menghasilkan kejernihan spiritual pada diri se
seorang, sehingga berdampak pada sikap dan perilakunya . Ada
beberapa dampak yang dapat yang dapat ditimbulkan yaitu:
◆ Memperlunak hati seseorang sehingga ia cendrung bersedia
menerima dan mengikuti petunjuk (Hidayah)
◆ Membangkitkan kesadaran bahwa Allah Maha Pengatur
◆ Meningkatkan mutu ibadah
3. Mengajak manusia memiliki adab terhadap gurunya.Didalam
Hidayatush Shalihin Abdussomad al-Palimbani memaparkan ad
a sebelas adab yang harus dimiliki oleh seorang murid dintarany
a mendahului memberi salam, meminta izin terlebih dahulu ketik
a akan bertanya, jangan menoleh kekiri dan kekanan ketika dud
uk d hadapn gurunya, dan ketika gurunya berdiri maka ia juga b
erdiri. (Abdussomad al-Palimbani, 2006:171)

HAMZAH FANSHURI
 KEHIDUPAN
Hamzah Fansuri adalah seorang ulama sufi dan sastrawan pada ab
ad ke-16. Ia dikenal sebagai penulis pertama yang menulis tentang i
de-ide panteisme dalam bahasa Melayu. Selain itu, Fansuri juga se
nang menulis puisi, sehingga ia juga dianggap sebagai penyair pert
ama yang dikenal di dunia Melayu. Beliau berasal dari Pancur sebu
ah tempat yang berada sisir Barus Tapanuli Utara, Sumatera Utara.
Beliau hidup pada Pemerintah Sultan Alaiddin Riayatsyah (pertenga
han abad ke-16 M) hingga awal pemerintahan Iskandar Muda Mahk
ota Alam (awal abad ke-17 M). Syekh Hamzah Fanzuri wafat dan di
makamkan di sebuah kuburan di Oboh Simpang Kanan Singkil.
