Abstract
PENDAHULUAN !

Penelitian telah menunjukkan bahwa hippoterapi


meningkatkan keseimbangan dan aktivitas fungsional
sehari-hari pasien dengan CP karena gerakan tiga
dimensi kuda, yang menyebabkan stimulasi konstan
dari sistem yang terlibat dalam keseimbangan (Casady
dan Nichols-Larsen,2004; Lee, Kim, dan Na, 2014;
Shurtleff, Standeven, dan Engsberg,2009).
METODE
● Sample yang digunakan yaitu 13 anak dengan diagnosa CP, usia 5-
10 tahun.
● kemampuan untuk memahami instruksi sederhana, kemampuan
untuk tetap duduk tanpa bantuan setidaknya selama 10 detik dan
kemampuan untuk melakukan abduksi pinggul minimal 20°.
Kriteria eksklusi adalah sebagai berikut: defisit penglihatan
dan/atau pendengaran yang tidak terkoreksi, prosedur bedah apa
pun dalam 12 bulan sebelumnya dan/ atau blokade
neuromuskuler kimiawi dalam 6 bulan sebelumnya, partisipasi
dalam intervensi hippoterapi sebelumnya dan/atau kondisi klinis
apa pun yang mencegah memasang kuda.
PROSEDUR
INTERVENSI
● Hippoterapi dilakukan dua kali seminggu selama 30 menit,
● Sesi dimulai dengan latihan peregangan selama 5 menit. Setiap
bentangan dipertahankan selama 20 detik dengan kuda
bergerak di atas arena pasir. Anak- anak diminta melakukan
peregangan aktif dengan meletakkan tangan mereka di bagian-
bagian kuda (yaitu leher dan pinggul). Jika ada kesulitan, anak-
anak dibantu untuk melakukan eksekusi oleh fisioterapis untuk
mencapai jangkauan gerak maksimal.
● Anak menekuk lutut dengan posisi 90 selama 4 menit
● Selain itu, posisi anak di atas kuda bervariasi: duduk di setiap sisi
hewan selama 1 menit dan kemudian menghadap ke belakang
selama 3 menit. Anak itu ditutup matanya selama 3 menit
sementara lintasan lengkung dan lurus dibuat .
Di trotoar aspal, anak diinstruksikan untuk melepaskan
kaki dari sanggurdi dan frekuensi serta amplitudo gaya
berjalan kuda bergantian selama 5 menit. Selanjutnya,
jalur aspal dan rumput yang naik dan turun digunakan
selama 6 menit. 2 menit terakhir digunakan untuk
bersantai, dengan anak-anak berbaring telentang dan
mengucapkan selamat tinggal pada kuda.
HASIL
● Tabel 1 menunjukkan bahwa anthroppmetric karakter CP. GMFCS
dan kemampuan bergerak, menunjukkan hasil perbedaan yang
signifikan pada Mediolateral progeress Hippotherapy. F(1.75, 21.02)
= 19.99, p < 0.01, with a 0.63 effect size and 99% test power.
● Tes perbandingan Multiple menunjukkan perbedaan yang
signifikan secara statistik antara evaluasi yang dilakukan sebelum
hippotherapy (E1) dan semua intervensi lainnya.
● 1) pretest dan 12 sesi (p =0,021); 2) pretest dan 24 sesi (p = 0,006); 3)
pretest dan periode interupsi (p =0,038); 4) pretest dan 36 sesi
hippotherapy (p =0,003); 5) ada perbedaan yang signifikan secara
statistik antara 12 sesi (E2) dan tonggak E5, ketika 36 sesi telah
dilakukan (p = 0,012); 6) antara 24 sesi hippoterapi (E3) dan periode
interupsi (p =0,028); dan 7) antara periode interupsi dan milestone
E5, dengan 36 sesi hippoterapi (p =0,010)
