Apa saja manfaat komputer di dunia pendidikan?

Beberapa contoh manfaat komputer dalam dunia
pendidikan adalah:

 Lebih mudah dan lebih luas dalam mencari informasi

 Adanya kelas daring Meminimalisir penggunaan buku
cetak
 Adanya beragam aplikasi pendidikan
 Memberikan variasi baru dan beragam dalam kegiatan
belajar
Apa pengertian Hardware, Software dan Brainware?
 Hardware adalah perangkat keras yang berupa
komponen fisik dari sistem komputer.
 Software disebut sebagai program-program yang ada di
dalam komputer, untuk melakukan tugas atau pekerjaan
 Sedangkan Brainware adalah pengguna atau user yang
menggunakan dan mengoperasikan komputer.
Pengertian tiga komponen Berikut pengertian tiga komponen pada sistem komputer, yaitu:

Hardware Hardware atau perangkat keras adalah peralatan fisik dari sebuah komputer yang dapat disentuh dan
dipindahkan.

Perangkat keras terdiri dari empat bagian yakni, perangkat bagian masukan (input), perangkat bagian keluaran
(output), perangkat bagian pemrosesan (processing), dan perangkat bagian penyimpanan (storage).

Berikut contoh massing-masing: Contoh dari perangkat bagian input adalah mouse, keyboard, microphone, dan touch
screen. Contoh dari perangkat bagian output adalah monitor, speaker, dan printer.

Software adalah suatu perangkat lunak yang berisi perintah atau instruksi untuk menjalankan komputer. Tanpa
adanya software, komputer tidak dapat difungsikan.

Menurut kategorinya, software terbagi menjadi tiga bagian yakni,

sistem operasi,
perangkat lunak aplikasi,
dan perangkat lunak pemrograman.

Berikut penjelasannya:
Sistem operasi merupakan sekumpulan program yang ditulis untuk melayani program-program lain berinteraksi
dengan perangkat keras. Contoh software sistem operasi seperti, Windows, Linux, Disk Operating Systems (DOS),
Unix, Solaris, MacOS, Android, dan iOS.

perangkat lunak sistem operasi berfungsi untuk melakukan kontrol dan manajemen sumber daya (resource) yang
dimiliki hardware dan software komputer, menjalankan proses, dan mengawasi serta melindungi jalannya sebuah
program.
Perangkat lunak aplikasi
Perangkat lunak aplikasi atau aplikasi merupakan perangkat lunak yang dijalankan pada sistem operasi. Aplikasi adalah
program komputer siap pakai yang dikembangkan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan yang spesifik.

Contoh program aplikasi, yakni:

1. Pengolah kata (word processor): Notepad, Wordstar, Microsoft Word, Word Perfect, AmiPro.
2. Pengolah lembar kerja (spreadsheet): Lotus123, Microsoft Excel, QuattroPro, OpenOffice Calc.
3. Pengolah basis data (database): Microsoft Access, dBase, MySQL, SQL Server.
4. Presentasi: Microsoft PowerPoint, LibreOffice Impress, Powtoon.
5. Peramban internet dan aplikasi pesan: Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Opera Mini, WhatsApp, Zoom, Google Meet,
Cisco Webex, Telegram.

Dikutip dari Buku Interaksi Manusia dan Komputer (2020) karya Tri Rachmadi, brainware adalah manusia yang terlibat di
dalam mengoperasikan serta mengatur sistem komputer.

Hardware dan software tidak dapat beroperasi tanpa adanya brainware. Artinya, ketiga komponen itu harus saling bekerja
sama agar sebuah sistem komputer dapat bekerja sempurna.

Kendati begitu, untuk dapat merancang sebuah sistem interaksi manusia dan komputer yang sempurna maka perancang
tidak saja harus mengetahui aspek teknis dari sistem komputer tersebu, tetapi juga harus mengerti bagaimana manusia
mengolah informasi.
