Tertegun diri mengingat usia yang tak lagi muda.

Langkah kaki mulai melemah tak berdaya.

Mata mulai rabun ketika senja telah tiba.

Telinga pun sudah mulai berkurang kepekaannya.

• Hari berganti pekan tak terasa waktu sudah penuh sebulan. Begitu pun
bulan berlalu hingga tiba di tahun depan. Putaran waktu tak ada yang
bisa menahan. Hingga tiba di penghujung kehidupan.
• Lantas kita akan bertanya.
• *_Kapan jadwal ajalku?_*
• Tak ada jawaban atas pertanyaan. Tak pernah kita tahu kapan hidup ini
akan berakhiran.

• Mati bukan soal usia. Ada yang baru terlahir di dunia Allah sudah
panggil menghadap-Nya.
• Ada yang berusia remaja ternyata sudah habis masanya.
• Ada yang mulai tumbuh mendewasa ternyata telah sampai di batas
umurnya.
• Bahkan sudah tua renta Allah masih ijinkan untuk menikmati
hidupnya.
• Suatu ketika Imam Hasan Al-Bashri mengangkat pertanyaan di suatu
majelis, *_"Wahai para orang lanjut usia yang terhormat, apakah yang
dinanti dari tanaman pertanian yang sudah tua?"_*
• Mereka menjawab, *_"Masa panen."_*
• Lalu Imam Hasan Al-Bashri melemparkan pandangannya pada para
pemuda dan berkata, *_"Para pemuda yang kucintai, ingatlah
adakalanya tanaman itu layu sebelum tua."_*
• Mari kita pejamkan mata sejenak dan renungi nasihat Imam Hasan Al
Bashri hingga menyadari bahwa semua yang berlalu tak bisa kembali.
Maka tanamlah kebaikan hingga kelak mulia saat berjumpa kematian.
