 BAB I
Kerja Industri ini dilaksanakan mulai tanggal 13 Maret 2023 sampai 05 Juli 2023. Kegiatan kerja industri
berlangsung pada hari kerja yaitu Senin-Kamis pukul 07.25-16.15 WIB, sedangkan hari Jumat pukul
07.25-16.30 WIB. Kerja industri ini dilakukan di departemen produksi sebagai industrial engineering
(IE).
Kendala yang dialami selama melakukan kerja industri 1 ini ada 2, yaitu:
• Sistem tahapan kampus yang tidak beraturan mengakibatkan departemen research and development
(R&D) terlewat, sehingga sebagai mahasiswa yang diarahkan menjadi bagian industrial engineering
(IE) merasa kurang siap dalam hal tata cara perhitungan (check time) khusus R&D PT Seikou Seat
Cover.
• Kendala lainnya adalah praktik pemeliharaan mesin tidak dapat dilaksanakan karena waktu yang
diberikan hanya 2 hari, sedangkan praktik pemeliharaan mesin harus dilakukan pada hari libur yaitu
hari sabtu.
 BAB II
Bagian Umum Perusahaan

PT Seikou Seat Cover merupakan perusahaan

Perseroan Terbatas (PT) yang bergerak di
bidang industri seat cover dan pakaian jadi,
yang berlokasi di Jalan Raya Kopo Katapang
KM 11,2 No. 90, RT 03 RW 03, Desa cilampeni,
Kecamatan Katapang, Kabupaten Bandung,
40971, Jawa Barat. Luas tanah dan bangunan PT
Seikou Seat Cover yaitu ± 7.562 m2, sementara
luas bangunan yang digunakan yaitu ± 6.054 m2
ditambah dengan luas area parkir ± 945.50 m2.
PT Seikou Seat Cover didirikan pada 18 Februari 2005 oleh Mr. Kazuyuki Hiraki dan
Mr. Seijiro Hirakawa dari PT Chitose Indonesia. PT Seikou Seat Cover awalnya
memproduksi cover kursi pijat elektrik untuk diekspor ke Jepang dan beroperasi di
Jalan Cirangrang Barat No. 05, kota Bandung sejak 1 April 2005. Setelah
berkembang, PT Seikou Seat Cover pindah ke Jalan Kopo Katapang KM 11,2 No.
90, Kabupaten Bandung pada 2007 karena keterbatasan lahan. PT Seikou Seat Cover
juga memproduksi cover sofa dan tas gitar untuk diekspor ke Australia pada tahun
2008, namun produksi ini berakhir pada tahun 2012 karena kebangkrutan dari klien.
PT Seikou Seat Cover memulai produksi pakaian jadi seperti seragam industri
makanan, seragam rumah sakit, dan apron untuk diekspor ke Jepang pada tahun
2010. Pesanan otomotif seperti door trim dan armrest cover diekspor sejak tahun
2011 ke Jepang dan Amerika Serikat. Perlengkapan pakaian mulai diekspor kembali
ke Jepang pada tahun 2013. PT Seikou Seat Cover juga memproduksi console lid
cover untuk diekspor ke Jepang dan Amerika Serikat pada tahun 2014, serta
memproduksi seat cover untuk mobil dan motor di pasar domestik mulai pada tahun
2015. Lokasi PT Seikou Seat Cover pada saat ini dalam kawasan berikat, yang
memberikan kemudahan dalam ekspor dan impor berkat penangguhan pajak dan
dukungan bea cukai.
 Bentuk Struktur Organisasi
PT Seikou Seat Cover menerapkan struktur organisasi berbentuk garis dan staf, dengan Presiden
Direktur sebagai pemimpin tertinggi. Penggunaan struktur organisasi ini memberikan banyak manfaat
bagi perusahaan, termasuk pelaksanaan tugas yang jelas, tanggung jawab yang terdefinisi, komunikasi
yang efektif, dan fokus sumber daya yang terarah.
 Permodalan & Pemasaran

PT Seikou Seat Cover ini menggunakan penanaman

modal asing (PMA), dengan komposisi kepemilikan
sahamnya terdiri dari 40% dimiliki oleh Seijiro
Hirakawa, 30% dimiliki oleh PT Abadi Terang Jaya,
20% dimiliki oleh Toshinori Hiraki, dan 10% dimiliki
oleh Shigeru Co., Ltd. PT Seikou Seat Cover
mengutamakan pasar luar negeri dalam strategi
pemasaran, walaupun ada beberapa pembeli lokal.
Berdasarkan rata-rata pesanan tiga bulan (Februari,
Maret, April), sekitar 77% pesanan diekspor, sementara
23% untuk pasar lokal. Fokus pemasaran utama
perusahaan adalah pada pembeli asing, khususnya dari
Jepang.

 Sistem Pengupahan
Upah yang diberikan kepada karyawan PT Seikou Seat Cover sesuai dengan jabatan, kontribusi karyawan
terhadap perusahaan, dan status kerja karyawan (karyawan tetap, karyawan kontrak, karyawan percobaan).
Pemberian upah dilakukan sekali dalam sebulan dengan hitungan dari tanggal 22 hingga tanggal 22 bulan
berikutnya, pembayaran upah dilakukan melalui transfer bank ke rekening karyawan hal ini berlaku untuk
karyawan tetap dan karyawan kontrak, sedangkan untuk karyawan percobaan yang belum memiliki rekening
maka pembayaran dilakukan secara tunai dengan waktu yang sama seperti diatas. Upah yang di berikan
kepada karyawan PT Seikou Seat Cover terdiri dari:

2. Tunjangan tetap
3. Upah tidak tetap
