 PENGERTIAN KURIKULUM
Kurikulum merupakan seperangkat rencana dan
pengaturan mengenai tujuan, isi dan bahan pelajaran serta
bahan yang digunakan sebagai pedoman
penyelenggaraan kegiatan pembelajaran untuk mencapai
tujuan pendidikan tertentu, yang didalamnya memuat
latar belakang, visi, misi tujuan serta struktur kurikulum
dari sekolah.
Kurikulum dimaknai sebagai titik awal sampai titik akhir
pengalaman belajar murid.

Murid menjadi acuan

Kurikulum
Kurikulum membantu dalam merancang
program pembelajaran yang efektif. Ini

diperbarui untuk mencerminkan perkembangan terbaru dalam ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Ini
memastikan bahwa siswa memperoleh pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang relevan dengan dunia
nyata.
Perubahan Sosial dan Ekonomi
 Masyarakat dan ekonomi juga berubah seiring waktu. Perubahan ini memengaruhi jenis pekerjaan
yang dibutuhkan di pasar tenaga kerja, sehingga kurikulum perlu disesuaikan agar siswa dapat
mempersiapkan diri untuk pekerjaan masa depan.
Perkembangan Pengetahuan dan Teknologi
 Pengetahuan dan teknologi terus berkembang dengan cepat. Oleh karena itu, kurikulum harus
diperbarui untuk mencerminkan perkembangan terbaru dalam ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Ini
memastikan bahwa siswa memperoleh pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang relevan dengan dunia
nyata.
Kebutuhan Individual Siswa
 Setiap siswa memiliki kebutuhan dan minat yang berbeda.
Kurikulum yang fleksibel memungkinkan siswa untuk memilih
mata pelajaran dan jalur pendidikan yang sesuai dengan minat
dan tujuan karir mereka.
Persiapan untuk Tantangan Masa Depan
• Kurikulum harus dirancang untuk mempersiapkan siswa
menghadapi tantangan masa depan, termasuk masalah global
seperti perubahan iklim, ketidaksetaraan, dan revolusi teknologi.
Pendidikan harus memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan
yang diperlukan untuk mengatasi tantangan ini.
 Dapatkah Kurikulum
Berubah?
Kurikulum oprasional satuan pendidikan itu
bersifat dinamis artinya dapat diubah
sesuai perubahan dan perkembangan
budaya dan zaman, selain mengikuti zaman
yang sudah diadaptasi sesuai lingkungan
geografis.

Kurikulum bersifat dinamis dan terus

dikembangkan atau diadaptasi sesuai
konteks dan kebutuhan peserta didik untuk
membangun kompetensi sesuai masa kini
dan masa yang akan datang.
Bagaimana Cara Mewujudkannya?
Penting untuk diingat bahwa perubahan kurikulum
memerlukan waktu dan komitmen dari banyak pihak, serta
penyesuaian berkelanjutan. Keterlibatan stakeholder dan
pendekatan yang terencana adalah kunci keberhasilan dalam
mewujudkan perubahan kurikulum.
Seluruh komponen masyarakat yaitu peran orang tua,
masyarakat dan sekolah harus menempatkan kebutuhan,
pendapat, pengalaman, hasil belajar serta kepentingan peserta
didik sebagai pengembangan Kurikulum karena Kurikulum
dirancang untuk kebutuhan peserta didik.
