Konsep Resiko
Jatuh
 definisi
Risiko jatuh merupakan kejadian hampir jatuh pada pasien di unit perawatan pada saat
pasien istirahat maupun saat pasien terjaga (Nursalam, 2016). Rentan terhadap peningkatan
risiko jatuh, yang dapat menyebabkan bahaya fisik dan gangguan kesehatan (NANDA
Inernational, 2015-2017). Risiko jatuh juga termasuk dalam sasaran keselamatan pasien,
Maksud dari sasaran keselamatan pasien adalah untuk mendorong perbaikan spesifik dalam
keselamatan pasien. Sasaran keselamatan pasien mencakup sasaran Keselamatan Pasien
(Kemenkes, 2017), yakni:
1. Mengidentifikasi pasien dengan benar
2. Meningkatkan komunikasi efektif 10
3. Meningkatkan keamanan obat-obatan yang harus diwaspadai
4. Memastikan lokasi pembedahan yang benar, prosedur yang benar, pembedahan pada
pasien yang benar
5. Mengurangi risiko infeksi akibat akibat perawatan kesehatan, dan
6. Mengurangi risiko cedera pasien akibat terjatuh
 Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Kejadian Jatuh
Faktor yang mempengaruhi Risiko Jatuh menurut NANDA International (2015-2017):
1. Dewasa
2. Anak
3. Kognitif
4. Lingkungan
5. Agen Farmaseutikal
6. Fisiologis
Sedangkan faktor risiko pada risiko jatuh menurut Setiawati (2017) adalah:
1. Usia kurang dari 2 tahun
2. Riwayat jatuh
3. Penurunan tingkat kesadaran
4. Lingkungan tidak aman
5. Masalah yang Terjadi Pada Kejadian Jatuh
 Masalah yang terjadi dari kejadian jatuh menurut Myake-Lye et al,
(2013) adalah:
1. Masalah fisiologis Masalah fisik yang disebabkan oleh jatuh berupa leet,
memar, luka sobek, fraktur, cidera kepala, bahkan dalam kasus yang fatal
dapat mengakibatkan kematian.

2. Masalah Psikologis Jatuh yang tidak menimbulkan masalah fisik dapat

memicu masalah psikologis seperti, ketakutan, anxiety,distress,depresi, dan
dapat mengurangi aktivitas fisik.

3. Masalah Finansial Pasien yang mengalami jatuh pada unit rawat inap dapat.
menambah biaya perawatan, hal tersebuut karena jatuh dapat menyebabkan
luka pada pasien
