Latar belakang
andemi covid-19 mengajarkan bahwa
kebutuhan manusia akan zat-zat gizi untuk
memelihara kehidupan yang sehat berada
pada prioritas tinggi . Pilihan banyak orang
untuk menggunakan zat gizi dan zat gizi yang
berguna adalah meningkatkan stamina,
ketahanan, dan oleh karena itu daya tahan
Untuk menghindari infeksi virus . Oleh karena itu, permintaan untuk menggunakan zat zat
yang kaya akan pemhayalan dan zat-zat gizi yang fungsional di kovid-19 pandemi
meningkat . Zat gizi yang fungsional ini mencakup makanan yang mengandung asam lemak
tak jenuh dalam rantai panjang , antioksidan, vitamin, dan sejenisnya . Salah satu sumber
bahan baku untuk konsumsi makanan yang dibutuhkan oleh tubuh adalah mikroalga yang
sudah dikenal sebagai penghasil biomassa yang mengandung komponen nilai tambah yang
tinggi yang dibutuhkan untuk kesehatan manusia
Dalam konteks ini, kandungan yang terkandung oleh microganggang berguna untuk
sumber nutrisi, persiapan farmasi, bahan kosmetik, pigmen, makanan hewan.Pupuk organik,
dan bahan mentah untuk proses industri seperti biofuel dan biochemical . Selain itu,
perhatian yang besar juga meningkat pada teknologi untuk menghasilkan ganggang sel
tunggal yang memproduksi lipid dan asam lemak dalam skala komersial .
Salah satu spesies mikroba yang banyak diteliti oleh para peneliti internasional berasal dari
spesies Aurantiochytrium. Mikroba Aurantiochytrium adalah mikroalga eukariotik sel
tunggal (yang bersel tunggal) yang terdapat dalam ekosistem bakau. Mikroba
Aurantiochytrium menyediakan zat gizi untuk ikan dan udang dalam ekosistem bakau .
Komponen bernilai tinggi yang dihasilkan oleh Aurantiochytrium mencakup omega-3 asam
lemak tak jenuh, astaxanthin, kemelaratan, karotenoid, dan berbagai enzim yang bermanfaat
bagi manusia Oleh karena itu, potensi masa depan spesies mikroba Aurantiochytrium di
masa depan mungkin dikembangkan sebagai bahan mentah untuk zat gizi pada era pasca-
pandemi. Penelitian sebelumnya menunjukkan bahwa para peneliti dan akademisi
