Nasional
Jadi, “Identitas Nasional” adalah
suatu ciri yang dimiliki oleh suatu
Secara etimologis identitas nasional
bangsa yang secara filosofis
berasal dari dua kata “Identitas” dan
membedakan bangsa tersebut dengan
“Nasional”. Kata “Identitas” berasal
bangsa lain. Setiap bangsa memiliki
dari kata identity yang berarti ciri-
identitasnya sendiri. Dengan
ciri, tanda-tanda, atau jati diri yang
memahami identitas bangsa
melekat pada seseorang atau sesuatu
diharapkan akan memahami jati diri
yang membedakannya dengan yang
bangsa sehingga menumbuhkan
lain. Sedangkan “Nasional”
kebanggaan sebagai bangsa
menunjuk pada sifat khas kelompok
yang memiliki ciri-ciri kesamaan,
baik fisik seperti, budaya, agama,
bahasa, maupun non-fisik seperti,
keinginan, cita-cita, dan tujuan..

lambang negara Garuda Pancasila, dan lagu
kebangsaan Indonesia Raya. Bentuk-bentuk
identitas nasional ini telah diatur dalam
peraturan perundangan baik dalam UUD
maupun dalam peraturan yang lebih khusus
