ABSTRAK

. Perkembangan jenis musik yang semakin bervariasi membuat


kurang dikenalnya jenis musik tradisional. Khususnya di Indonesia,
perkembangan industri musik Indonesia banyak dipengaruhi oleh dunia
luar. Dalam sebuah pertunjukan musik terdapat seorang pemimpin yang
biasa disebut dengan dirigen. Biasanya dirigen memimpin sekelompok
pemain musik yang memainkan instrument musik yang berbeda-beda
atau memimpin sebuah paduan suara. Dirigen memimpin para pemain
musik dengan menggunakan gerakan isyarat (Hand Gesture) daripada
berbicara untuk berkomunikasi. Keterbatasan waktu antara dirigen dan
pemain musik terkadang menjadi penghambat dalam melakukan latihan.
Berdasarkan keadaan tersebut dibuatlah sebuah aplikasi simulasi
conducting dengan menggunakan teknologi Leap Motion, dimana dalam
aplikasi ini pengguna dapat memanggil suara dari beberapa instrumen
musik tradisional dan menciptakan paduan nada dari instrumen tersebut
sehingga memungkinkan pengguna berlatih conducting musik secara
mandiri dengan lebih efisien. Leap Motion mendeteksi pergerakan tangan
secara alami dan memungkinkan pengguna untuk berinteraksi dengan
komputer dengan melakukan beberapa gesture sepeti SwipeGesture,
KeyTapGesture, ScreenTapGesture, serta Finger Interaction.

ABSTRACT

The development of various type of music makes the less popular of


traditional music. Especially in Indonesia, the development of music
industry is influenced by the world. In a music show, there is a leader of
which is used to be called as a musical director. A musical director
commonly leads a group of music players that plays different music
instruments or leads a choir. A musical director leads all the music
players using hand gesture rather than talking in communicating. The
limited time between a musical director and music players sometimes
becomes an obstacle in training. Based on that condition, it is proposed
to make a conducting simulation application using a leap motion
technology. In this application user can play voice from some instruments
of traditional music and create a tone combination from those, so that it
possibly makes the user independently and efficiently train music
conducting independently. A leap motion detects the movement of hand
naturally and possibly makes the user interacts with computer by doing
some gestures such as swipe gesture, key tap gesture, screen tap gesture,
and finger interaction.

TRADITIONAL MUSIC SOUND”

Pembuatan dan penyusunan proyek akhir ini diajukan sebagai


salah satu syarat untuk menyelesaikan studi Diploma-3 (D3) dan
memperoleh gelar Ahli Madya (A.Md) di jurusan Teknologi Multimedia
Bradcasting Politeknik Elektronika Negeri Surabaya.
Penulis berusaha secara optimal dengan segala pengetahuan dan
informasi yang didapatkan dalam menyusun laporan proyek akhir ini.
Namun, penulis menyadari berbagai keterbatasannya, karena itu penulis
memohon maaf atas keterbatasan materi laporan proyek akhir ini.
Demikian besar harapan penulis agar laporan proyek akhir ini
dapat bermanfaat bagi pembaca, khususnya mahasiswa Politeknik
Elektronika Negeri Surabaya.
