Golongan darah sistem ABO ditentukan

oleh gen I. Dimana gen I mempunyai
pasangan gen lebih dari satu, sehingga
disebut beralela ganda.
Genotipe :

IAIA / IAIO = Golongan darah A

IBIB / IBIO = Golongan darah B

IAIB = Golongan darah AB

IOIO = Golongan darah O
