Hasil dan Pembahasan: Dari tabel Tests of Homogeneity of the Odds Ratio diperoleh nilai
uji Breslow-Day dimana nilai chi−square=8.627 dan p−value=0.013. Dengan demikian,
karena nilai p−value=0.013<α =0.05 maka H 0 ditolak. Hal ini berarti tidak terdapat
asosiasi homogen atau terdapat interaksi antara ketiga variabel (level penicillin, delay, dan
response).

2. Uji Independensi Bersyarat

Hipotesis:

H 0 : Tidak terdapat interaksi dua arah antara variabel delay dan variabel response

H 1 : Terdapat interaksi dua arah antara variabel delay dan variabel response

Under the conditional independence assumption, Cochran's statistic

is asymptotically distributed as a 1 df chi-squared distribution, only if
the number of strata is fixed, while the Mantel-Haenszel statistic is
always asymptotically distributed as a 1 df chi-squared distribution.
Note that the continuity correction is removed from the Mantel-
Haenszel statistic when the sum of the differences between the
observed and the expected is 0.

Hasil dan Pembahasan: Dari tabel Tests of Conditional Independence diperoleh nilai uji
Cochran’s dimana nilai chi−square=6.171 dan p−value=0.013 dan nilai uji Mantel-
Haenzel dimana nilai chi−square=3.929 dan p−value=0.047. Dengan demikian, karena
kedua nilai p−value<α =0.05 maka H 0 ditolak. Hal ini berarti tidak terdapat conditional
independence atau terdapat interaksi dua arah antara variabel delay dan variabel response.
