A. Tujuan pembelajaran
1. Melalui kegiatan eksplorasi, siswa mengidentifikasi fungsi sosial ungkapan
memberikan selamat, harapan dan doa atas prestasi dan kebahagiaan dengan
benar sesuai dengan konteks dan penggunaan.
2. Melalui kegiatan mengisi kalimat rumpang, siswa mengidentifikasi bentuk
– bentuk ungkapan memberikan selamat, harapan dan doa atas prestasi dan
kebahagiaan dengan benar dan sesuai konteks penggunaan.
3. Melalui kegiatan explorasi, siswa mendengarkan pelafalan bentuk- bentuk
ungkapan memberikan selamat, harapan dan doa atas prestasi dan
kebahagiaan dengan intonasi yang benar.
4. Melalui berbagai kegiatan pembelajaran siswa dapat menunjukkan perilaku
disiplin, kerjasama, tanggung jawab, dan percaya diri.

B. Materi Pembelajaran
Fungsi Sosial
Ungkapan memberikan selamat, harapan dan doa adalah ungkapan yang seringkali
digunakan dalam konteks kehidupan sehari – hari. Adapun konteks atau situasi
yang tepat untuk mengucapkannya atau menuliskannya adalah ketika ada dalam
situasi suka cita. Diantaranya: Ulang tahun (birthday), Kelulusan (Graduation),
Kemenangan dalam sebuah perlombaan (winning competition), Pembuatan dan
peluncuran karya (Launching) dan Prestasi (Achievement). Fungsi sosial dari
konteks suka cita ini adalah memberikan rasa turut serta bahagia disertai dengan
segala pengharapan baik yang akan lebih membuat bahagia bagi yang
mendapatkannya dan bernilai kebaikan di mata Tuhan.
Diantaranya contohnya adalah sebagai berikut
