Greeting in English Context
Greeting is the first word you learn. Greeting tell people that you want to communicate with
them. Greeting is one way to maintain good relationship with others. Greeting means
welcoming other people. It can also lead to a conversation. Business greetings or greetings
among strangers are formal. On the other side, greetings among friends and family members
are informal or casual. People usually slow down their activity, smile, or wave their hands as
they greet other people. They will stop doing their activity if they want to talk more.
Greeting is usually followed by asking condition. It is more likely to maintain relationship.
