3.4 Mengidentifikasi fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan unsur kebahasaan


teks interaksi transaksional lisan dan tulis yang melibatkan tindakan
memberi dan meminta informasi terkait nama dan jumlah binatang,
benda, dan bangunan publik yang dekat dengan kehidupan peserta
didik sehari-hari, sesuai dengan konteks penggunaannya. (Perhatikan
unsur kebahasaan dan kosa kata terkait article a dan the, plural dan
singular).

4.4 Menyusun teks interaksi transaksional lisan dan tulis sangat pendek dan
sederhana yang melibatkan tindakan memberi dan meminta informasi
terkait nama dan jumlah binatang, benda, dan bangunan publik yang
dekat dengan kehidupan peserta didik sehari-hari, dengan
memperhatikan fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan unsur kebahasaan yang
benar dan sesuai konteks.

Singular & Plural nouns


Singular noun artinya kata benda tunggal, contoh: a book, an eraser, one board, etc.
Plural noun artinya kata benda jamak/lebih dari satu, contoh: two bags, seven pens, some watches, etc.

Dialogue 1
Andi : Where did you go last holiday, Sam?
Sam : I went to Taman Sari Zoo.
Andi : Really! What did you see there?
Sam : I saw many animals. There are lions, monkeys, chimpanzee, crocodiles, zebra, and so on.
There are ten crocodiles. The crocodiles were so scary.
Andi : Wow… how many monkeys are there?
Sam : Three monkeys. A chimpanzee lived beside the monkeys.

Dialogue 3
Lisa : Dayu, do you have any pets?

Activity 5

One day, you and your friends go to a beautiful garden. There are so many animals and things
at the garden. Write a short dialogue between your friends about asking “how many”. Perform
it with your group in front of the class.
