VINYL ditemukan oleh Dr. Waldo Semon pada tahun 1926 yang
bekerja pada perusahaan the BF Goodrich Company untuk
mengembangkan material metal dan rubber secara bersamaan.
Waldo Semon, juga sebagai assistant chemistry teacher di
Washington University.

Setelah diproses akan menghasilkan Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) resin / VINYL
(polyvinyl chloride).

 PVC VS uPVC
PVC (polyvinyl chloride) is a common, strong
but lightweight plastic used in construction. It is
made softer and more flexible by the addition of
plasticizers.
If no plasticizers are added, it is known as uPVC
(unplasticized polyvinyl chloride), rigid PVC.

uPVC is the new age material and choice of

modern homes and workplaces.
