Union Floor Deck II® adalah pelat baja struktural bergelombang
dengan mutu tegangan tarik tinggi dan dilapisi Galvanized yang
berfungsi ganda, yaitu sebagai bekisting tetap dan penulangan
positif satu arah pada lantai beton bangunan bertingkat.
Union Floor Deck II® adalah pengembangan dari Union Floor Deck
yang terlebih dahulu ada, yaitu pada bagian rusuk gelombang atas
terdapat tonjolan “Emboss” setinggi 2 mm dan perbaikan pada
sistem sambungan samping (side lap).
Emboss / tonjolan pada rusuk memperbesar kapasitas geser lekat
(shear bond), sehingga menjadikan pelat komposit lebih monolit
dan lebih mampu menerima beban yang lebih besar.
Sistem sambungan samping (side lap) pada Union Floor Deck II
mempunyai beberapa kelebihan, antara lain :
a. Sistem penguncian yang lebih baik pada saat pelat komposit
terbentuk.
b. Gaya geser yang terjadi lebih besar.
c. Lebih tahan terhadap bahaya kebakaran karena setiap rusuk
diselimuti oleh beton.
Union Floor Deck II® is a corrugated structural steel plate has a
high tensile strength and is Galvanized. It has a dual function, i.e.
as the permanent for multi-storey building concrete slab.
Union Floor Deck II® is a further development of the former Union
Floor Deck. The upper side of its ribs is embossed by 2 mm and the
side lap joining system is a modification of the former system.
The Embossed ribs have increased the shear bonding strength, so
that the composite slab becomes more monolithic and is capable of
withstanding heavier loads.
The side lap joining system of Union Floor Deck II® has several
advantageous such as :
a. Better locking system when the composite slab be formed;
b. Greater withstanding against shearing force;
c. More resistance against fire hazard because its every side lap
rib is covered with concrete.
