I. Please read the reading below carefully and translate into Indonesian language.

A Military Installation

The installation where we are stationed is typical of many installation. The facilities cover an
area of sixty thousand square meters. In addition to the facillities that are usually found on any military
installation, there are special buildings for classroom instruction. There are also library facilities, and
hospital facilities.

Ksatrian di mana kita ditempatkan merupakan tipikal dari kebanyakan ksatrian. Kompleks
satuan tersebut meliputi wilayah seluas enam puluh ribu meter persegi. Selain fasilitas yang umumnya
dijumpai pada setiap kesatuan militer, terdapat pula gedung khusus untuk ruangan kelas untuk
mengajar. Ada juga fasilitas perpustakaan dan rumah sakit.

Housing includes barracks for the serviceman, complete with recreation and study facilities.
Both apartments and houses are available for married officers, NCO’S and civillian whose facilities
are with them. These military quarters are equipped with electrical appliances. A commissary is
operated for serviceman and their families.

Kompleks perumahan meliputi barak untuk anggota militer yang dilengkapi dengan fasilitas
rekreasi dan studi. Baik apartemen maupun perumahan tersedia bagi perwira yang sudah berkeluarga,
bintara dan PNS di mana seluruhnya telah dilengkapi dengan fasilitas yang sama. Kompleks
perkantoran militer ini dilengkapi dengan perlengkapan elektronik. Sebuah toko dioperasikan untuk
melayani organik militer dan keluarga mereka.

Recreation and sports are part of the life of the people at the installation. Basket ball, football
and volleyball teams are organized. There are indoor tennis court and Gymnasium hall including
equipment for table tennis. At this installation there are Imam for the At Taqwa Mosque, where every
Friday the Moslems had their prayer.

Rekreasi dan olah raga merupakan bagian hidup dari anggota kesatuan tersebut. Dibentuk tim
olahraga untuk cabang bola basket, sepakbola dan bola voli. Terdapat pula lapangan tenis tertutup dan
GOR yang dilengkapi peralatan tenis meja. Pada kesatuan tersebut juga disediakan Imam untuk
mengurus Masjid At Taqwa tempat para umat muslim melaksanakan Shalat tiap Jumat.

All in all, the installation is a complete community in itself. It provides most of the activities of
Indonesian life. In addition, the installation provides an auditorium for multi purpose use, such as
wedding ceremony and seminars.

Secara keseluruhan, ksatrian adalah sebuah komunitas yang lengkap di dalamnya. Tersedia
hampir seluruh kegiatan yang ada pada kehidupan orang Indonesia. Tambahan lagi, ksatrian juga
menyediakan sebuah auditorium untuk berbagai kegiatan seperti upacara pernikahan dan seminar-
seminar.
