ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the effect of the work environment and commitment to the results of
employee performance through the work stress of the Sekretariat Daerah Pati employees. The
research was conducted using associative descriptive method. Primary data was obtained by
survey using a questionnaire. The population in this study were the employees of Sekretariat
Daerah Pati with a total of 158 employees. The sample used in this study was 100 respondents
using the hair formula, where the number of indicators was multiplied by 5. The results of the
analysis in the study using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method were as follows : (1)
The work environment has a positive and significant effect on work stress, (2) Commitment has a
positive and significant effet on work stress, (3) Work stress has a positive and significant effect on
performance results, (4) work environment has a positive and significant effect on performance
results, (5) Commitment has a positive and significant effect on performance results.
