(1500 – 2000 kata)
(untuk Program beasiswa dalam negeri ditulis dalam Bahasa Indonesia
dan untuk Program beasiswa luar negeri harus ditulis dalam bahasa
Inggris)

A. Judul Penelitian
B. Latar Belakang
Uraikan secara singkat topik isu yang ingin Anda teliti dan mengapa signifikan untuk
diteliti.
C. Perumusan Permasalahan (Statement of Problem)
Uraikan secara singkat apa yang telah Anda ketahui tentang topik tersebut dan
uraikan secara ringkas mengapa masih perlunya Anda meneliti. Tunjukkan bahwa
solusi terhadap isu yang telah ada masih belum terselesaikan sepenuhnya sehingga
Anda ingin melakukan penelitian.
D. Pertanyaan/Tujuan Penelitian
E. Kelogisan (Rationale)
Jelaskan bagaimana pertanyaan penelitian mendukung isu besar yang diangkat dalam
latar belakang penelitian. Khusus penelitian, jelaskan hipotesis (jika ada) dan/atau
model penelitian yang mendukung tujuan/pertanyaan penelitian. Jelaskan pula
kontribusi teoritis dan praktis jika hipotesis tidak terbukti.
F. Metode dan Desain
Jelaskan bagaimana Anda akan mengumpulkan data dan mengapa langkah itu
dilakukan!. Jelaskan mengapa metode ini adalah terbaik untuk mencapai tujuan Anda.
Jelaskan analisis dan hasil yang mendukung maupun tidak mendukung hipotesis (bila
ada hipotesis). Cantumkan outline jadwal penelitian dari awal sampai selesai.
G. Signifikansi/Manfaat
Deskripsikan secara umum, bagaimana penelitian yang Anda usulkan berguna baik
secara teoritis maupun praktis.
H. Kesimpulan dan Saran
Deskripsikan secara ringkas , apa yang menjadi jawaban atas pertanyaan penelitian
yang Anda ajukan. Selanjutnya, dari situ rekomendasi apa yang akan Anda berikan.

(For domestic scholarship programs, write in Indonesian, and for international scholarship
programs, write in English)

A. Research Title
B. Background
Briefly describe the topic or issue you wish to investigate and explain why it is significant
for research.
C. Problem Formulation (Statement of Problem)
Briefly outline what you already know about the topic and explain why further research is
needed. Show that the existing solutions to the issue are not fully resolved, thus indicating
the need for your research.
D. Research Questions/ Objectives
E. Rationale
Explain how the research questions support the broader issue raised in the background of
the research. For research studies, explain the hypothesis (if any) and/or the research
model that supports the research objectives/questions. Also, discuss the theoretical and
practical contributions if the hypothesis is not proven.
F. Methodology and Design
Explain how you will collect data and justify the chosen steps. Explain why the selected
method is the most suitable to achieve your objectives. Describe the analysis and expected
results that support or refute the hypothesis (if applicable). Include a research schedule
outline from the beginning to the completion of the study.
G. Significance/Benefits
Provide a general description of how the proposed research will be useful both
theoretically and practically.
H. Conclusion and Recommendations
Summarize the answer to the research questions you have posed. Additionally, provide
recommendations based on your findings.
