Menara Kudus
Menara Kudus is one of the destinations for religious
identity
tourism in Central Java. Menara Kudus is located in
Kauman, Kudus, about 1.5 kilometers from the city
centre.
Menara Kudus was built during the Sunan Kudus in
history 1549. The history of the construction was made not
only for a place of worship, but also a place that was
built through the process of adapting to Islamic
teaching.
The building and decoration indicate a connection with
Javanese Hindu. Menara Kudus has temple-shaped
character gate. The height is 18 metres. The Surrounding buildings
istics are decorated with 32 illustrated plates. Manara Kudus
consists of 3 parts; legs, body and the top of building.
