tentang tempat wisata dan bangunan bersejarah terkenal.

DESCRIPTIVE TEXT
Borobudur Temple
Borobudur is one of the historical buildings in Indonesia. It is considered to be the world’s
largest Buddhist temple for its size (15.129 m2) and height (34.5m). It is located in Magelang,
Central Java. Not only it became a well-known tourism destination to a lot of travelers around
the world, but Borobudur Temple is also included in the UNESCO list of the world heritage
site.

It was built in the ninth century under Sailendra dynasty of ancient Mataram kingdom. The
design of Borobudur symbolizes the conception of the universe in Buddhist cosmology. It is
believed that the universe is divided into three spiritual spheres, kamadhatu, rupadhatu, and
arupadhatu. Borobudur temple consists of six square floors and three circular floors which
arranged accordingly and make it be stair-like layers that you have to climb one by one to
reach the top of the temple. In the middle of the floor, you will find small stairwell with
couples of stairs connecting each floor that you can use as a passage to go to the top. On each
level of the floor, there are a lot of relief panels and Buddha statues spread around it. Based on
the data, there are 2.672 panels and 504 statues in total. There is a dome located on the top
center of the temple and is surrounded by 72 Buddha statues, each seated inside a perforated
stupa. It is said that, if you place your hand into the stupa through one of its holes and you can
touch the Buddha statue, you will be able to make one of your dream come true.

Kuta Beach Tanjung Tinggi Beach

Kuta is a very beautiful beach. Kuta beach
located in Badung regency. It’s close to the
Ngurah Rai airport and is about 9 km from
Denpasar. Kuta is a beach that is very
popular both in Indonesia and international.
In Kuta beach, there are a variety of
facilities including accommodation,
restaurant, bar, as well as a very famous
surfing spots in the world.
In Kuta beach, you will see a lot of tourists
with a variety of activities in which they
live. The usual tourist will take the time for
sunbathing, kite flying, playing volleyball,
walking around, and playing beach soccer.
This is a beach that is very crowded every
day.
The activity on Kuta beach does not only
take place during the day but also in the
night. Various types of pubs and restaurants there are rocks that form a tunnel through
provide night hours for visitors so they can which you can walk through. The panorama
enjoy a meal and entertainment throughout
the night. The nightlife at Kuta beach startshaving a beautiful panorama you can also
at 23:00.
When you visit Kuta beach, then you do not
have to worry about the existing system of
accommodation. In the vicinity of Kuta
beach, there are many types of hotels and
resorts that provide you with an
accommodation budget ranging from the
lowest to the highest. Kuta beach is a beach
that is highly recommended for you. In
addition to offering natural beauty, the
environment around it also gives a classy
facility as it is a unique beach.
Tanjung Tinggi beach is also called Pantai
Bilik (Chamber Beach) because it is
flanked by two peninsulae. Tanjung Tinggi
beach is approximately 2 km east from
Tanjung Kelayang beach. Tanjung Tinggi
Beach is located in the north of the island
near the hamlet of Tanjung Tinggi, Belitung
island in Bangka Belitung province.
Belitung island is located very strategically,
surrounded by three major islands: Java,
Sumatra, and Kalimantan. Belitung Island is
surrounded by seas and small islands.
Tanjung Tinggi beach is shaped like a cove
approximately 1000 meters long with white
sandy beach and granite blocks. Visiting the
Tanjung Tinggi beach will feel as like you
are in a fantasy world.
On the eastern tip of Tanjung Tinggi beach,
is exotic and very compelling. But besides
go fishing, diving or use jet skis. The
beautiful coral reefs in Tanjung Tinggi
beach can be seen with the naked eye.
There is a yearly ritual here called Buang
Jong. Buang Jong is performed by the local
people for the safety of the fishermen. There
is no doubt you should visit Tanjung Tinggi
beach as it is a unique beach.
There is no public transportation on the
island and taxi is limited, so at the airport,
you can arrange for a car to take you to the
beach (renting a car for a full day costs
around Rp 250.000). There are places to
stay at the Tanjung Tinggi beach, and then
you can enjoy your time longer here.
