Topik : Teks Narrative “Sangkuriang”

A. TUJUAN PEMBELAJARAN

Setelah mengikuti proses pembelajaran, peserta didik mampu :


1. Membandingkan fungsi sosial struktur teks dan unsur kebahasaan beberapa teks
narative lisan dan tulis
2. Menemukan pesan moral/makna yang terkandung dalam cerita “Sangkuriang”

PENDAHULUAN
 Memberi salam dan mengajak peserta didik berdoa bersama (Religious), mengecek
kehadiran, memberikan motivasi kepada peserta didik.
 Melakukan apersepsi mengenai materi sebelumnya
 Menyampaikan tujuan dan manfaat pembelajaran tentang topik yang akan diajarkan
 Menyampaikan garis besar cakupan materi dan langkah pembelajaran

 Peserta didik membaca materi tentang cerita rakyat “Sangkuriang”.

 Peserta didik diminta untuk mencatatkan informasi yang telah dipahami


tentang makna yang terkandung dalam cerita rakyat “Sangkuriang” serta
mengidentifikasi struktur teks dan unsur kebahasaannya.
(Collecting  Peserta didik diberi kesempatan untuk mendiskusikan, mengumpulkan

 Guru meminta respon dari peserta didik tentang pembelajaran yang baru saja usai
tersebut, apakah mereka senang dengan pembelajaran kali ini dan memberikan tugas
mempelajari materi untuk pertemuan berikutnya

LAMPIRAN MATERI

SANGKURIANG

Long time ago, tere lived a beutiful woman named Dayang Sumbi,
the daughter of the king of Sumbing Perbangkara. Her beutiful
face made Dayang Sumbi conteted by the princes.

As a princhess from the kingdom, Dayang Sumbi has a weaving


hobby. One time, when she was busy weaving cloth, suddenly her
loom fell. Instead of taking it herself, Dayang Sumbi said on oath:
if the one who took the loom were a man, then she would take
him as her husband, but if the one who took the loom were a
woman, she would make her a sister.

Unexpectedly, sometime later, there came a male dog named Si


Tumang, which Tumang was a God who was expelled from
heaven. From that marriage, a son named Sangkuriang was born.

Time went on until Sangkuriang grew into a handsome boy. One


day, Sangkuriang found out that his mother wanted to eat a
deer’s liver. Sangkuriang also hunted into the forest with Tumang.
Whilehunting, Sangkuriang felt upset because he hadn’t
succesfully hunted any animals. Then, he decided to kill Tumang
and gave Tumang’s heart to his mother.

Moments later, Dayang Sumbi found out that Sangkuriang had


killed Tumang. Furiously, Dayang Sumbi hit Sangkuriang head and
threw him out ot the house.

Years later, Sangkuriang, who was kicked out of the house, had
grown into a handsome man. While Dayang Sumbi remained
young, One day sangkuriang met Dayang Sumbi again and they
fell in love with each other.

Dayang Sumbi, who finally known that Sangkuriang was his son,
insisted on refusing and decided on Sangkuring to doa n
impossible assignment.

Dayang Sumbi said that if Sangkuriang wanted to marry her, he


had to bild a big boat in just one night. Sangkuriang also agreed.
With the help of the spirits, Sangkuriang almost succeeded in the
task before dawn.

However Dayang Sumbi did not remain silent. She and the
woman around her pounded the mortar and made it look like the
dawn had come. The spirits fled. So Sangkuriang failed to finish
his boat. This made Sangkuriang furious and kicked the boat
upside down. The overturned boat is now known as Mout
Tangkuban Perahu.

Pesan Moral yang terkandung dalam cerita rakyat “Sangkuriang”

- You must not kill your parents


- You must not marry your mother
- You should not hide the truth
- Never lie and fool parents
- Love someone reasonable. Don’t be blinded by love and too obsessed with someone
- Mind your words as they might hurt you
- Maintain the relationship between chlidren and parents to avoid any
misunderstanding.
