Safety First
Utamakan keselamatan
1. Make sure the victims and bystanders safe
àPastikan korban dan pengamat aman
Establishing unresponsiveness
2. Tap victims’ shoulder
àTepuk bahu korban
3. Ask : Are you all right? (loudly)
àTanyakan : Apakah anda baik-baik saja? (nyaring)
4. No response: Shout for help
àTidak ada jawaban: Berteriak minta tolong
5. Call for help (Tell code blue officer / 119 operator about location, what happened,
number and condition ofvictims, and type of aid provided (AED)
Patient Position
6. Make sure there is no obvious cervical spine injury
7. Place a victim on a hard surface in supine position
Check For Response
8. Confirm cardiac arrest for 10 second (check for sign of pulse and breathing
simultaneously)
Konfirmasikan henti jantung selama 10 detik (periksa tanda-tanda denyut nadi
dan pernapasan secara bersamaan)
- Check for sign of pulse (Palpation of the carotid pulse on your near side)
àPeriksa tanda denyut nadi (Palpasi denyut nadi karotis di sisi dekat anda)

11. Head tilt-chin lift support, jaw thrust maneuver as indicated
à Lakukan Head tilt-chin lift support, jaw thrust maneuver sesuai
indikasi
12. Mouth to mouth method à Close the nasal airway, maintain chin lift ; ideally with barrier,
or use bag-mask ventilation when available
• Arms are as straight as possible, with the shoulders directly over the handsto promote
effective compressions. Locking elbows will help maintain straight arms.
lurus.
• Proper compression minute rate and depth. Compressions are given at the
correct rate of at least 100 -120 per minute, and at the proper depthof at least 2
inches (at least 5 cm) for an adult to promote adequate circulation.
• Complete chest recoil. The chest must be allowed to fully recoil between each
compression to allow blood to flow back into the heart following the compression.
setelah kompresi.
• Avoid over ventilation
àHindari ventilasi berlebih
• Minimize interruption during compression
àMinimalkan gangguan/interupsi selama kompresi
• For 2 rescuers, change position between compressor and ventilator every2 minutes
(5 cycles) or when compressor exhausted
• Proper ratio compression: ventilation (30:2). (For adult patients, CPR consists of 30
chest compressions followed by 2 ventilations)
Rasio Kompresi:ventilasi (30:2). (Untuk pasien dewasa, CPR terdiri dari 30
kompresi dada diikuti oleh 2 ventilasi)

24. Patient Preparation:
• Make sure the patient’s chest is clearly exposed and dry.
• Remove any medication patches with a gloved hand.
àLepaskan medication patch dengan sarung tangan
• If necessary, remove or cut any undergarments that may be in the way. Thepads need
to be adhered to the skin for the shock to be delivered to the heart
26. Plug in the connector, and push the analyze button, if necessary. (Most AEDsavailable
today have their pads pre-connected and will automatically analyze once the pads are
applied to the chest)
àColokkan konektor, dan tekan tombol analisis, jika perlu. (Sebagian besar AEDyang
27. Observe the AED analysis and prepare for a shock to be delivered if advised.
disarankan.
28. Ensure that everyone is clear of the patient before the shock is delivered. Remember that
the AED delivers an electrical current that could injure anyonein contact with the patient.
29. When “clear” is announced, have the rescuer performing the compressions
stop compressions and hover a few inches above the chest, but remain in

position to resume compressions immediately after a shock is delivered or the AED
advises that a shock is not indicated.
30. If Shock advised by the AED Analysis:
Jika Shock disarankan oleh Analisis AED:
• Says “clear” ” (I’m clear, you’re clear, everybody’s clear)*, and ensures no one is
touching the patient while shock being delivered
• Then Presses shock button to deliver shock within 10 seconds
waktu 10 detik
• After the shock is delivered, immediately resumes the chest compressions
àSetelah syok/kejutan disampaikan, segera lanjutkan kompresi dada
• Give 1 shock. Resume CPR immediately for about 2 minutes (until prompted by AED
to allow rhythm check). Continue until ALS providers takeover or victim starts to move.
àBerikan 1 kejutan. Lanjutkan CPR segera selama sekitar 2 menit (sampai diminta
oleh AED untuk memungkinkan pemeriksaan ritme). Lanjutkan
sampai penyedia ALS mengambil alih atau korban mulai bergerak.
32. Remember:
• Do not use alcohol to wipe the patient’s chest dry, Alcohol is flammable.
àJangan gunakan alkohol untuk menyeka dada pasien hingga kering,Alkohol
mudah terbakar.
• Do not touch the patient while the AED is analyzing. Touching or movingthe
patient may affect analysis.
àJangan menyentuh pasien saat AED sedang menganalisis. Menyentuh atau
menggerakkan pasien dapat memengaruhi analisis.
• Do not touch the patient while the device is defibrillating. You or someoneelse
could be shocked.
àJangan menyentuh pasien saat perangkat sedang defibrilis. Anda atauorang
lain bisa terkejut.
• Do not defibrillate someone when around flammable or combustiblematerials,
such as gasoline or free-flowing oxygen.
bebas.
Re-evaluation
33. Re-evaluate every 5 cycles or 2 minutes
àEvaluasi ulang setiap 5 siklus atau 2 menit
5
34. If ROSC (Positive Pulse and Positive spontaneous breathing) assess the
patient vital sign periodically and continuously (every 2 minutes)
35. Assess the patient conciousness
Concious: explain the patient what happened earlier and ask to stay still untilthe help
arrived
diam sampai bantuan tiba
Unconscious: observe the circulation every 2 minutes
Tidak sadar: amati sirkulasi setiap 2 menit
36. Put the patient in recovery position (lying on the left side of the body)
