BRANTAS
pecahnya formasi sumur pengeboran dari
kedalaman 9000 kaki atau 2743 meter dari perut
bumi. -Pada tanggal 29 Mei 2006 lumpur panas yang
bersuhu 70 derajat celcius dengan membawa gas
dan bau yang menyengat,menyembur di desa
Siring,Kecamatan Porong,Kabupaten Sidoharjo,Jawa
Timur. Titik sembur yang berjarak sekitar 100 meter
dari sumur banjar panji-1 milik PT Lapindo Brantas.
-Sembura gas disebabkan karena pecahnya formasi
sumur pengeboran dari kedalaman 9000 kaki atau
2.743 meter dari perut bumi.
 ANALISIS KASUS
Jika dilihat dari sisi setika bisnis, apa yang dilakukan oleh PT
Lapindo Brantas jelas telah melanggar etika dalam berbisnis.
PT.Lapindo melakukan eksploitasi yang berlebihan dan melakukan
kelalaian yang menyebabkan terjadinya bencana besar yang
mengakibatkan kerusakan parah pada lingkungandan social.
Terbukti etika berbisnis yang dipegang oleh suatu perusahaan akan
sangat mempengaruhi kelangsungan suatu perusahaan.
 KESIMPULAN
Lingkungan hidup adalah suatu tanggung jawab setiap bisnis.
Setiap bisnis tidak harus dituntut untuk menjalankan bisnis yang
mencari keuntungan saja ,tetapi setiap bisnis harus mewujudkan
lingkungan yang tetap sehat dan seimbang untuk saat ini dan
kedepannya.
 SARAN
-Setiap pelaku bisnis harusnya melakukan bisnis yang etis secara
suka rela karena adanya kesadaran secara pribadi untuk
mendukung kelestarian lingkungan.
-Peran pemerintah diharapkan lebih terlihat melalui pengaturan
yang ketat dan tegas terhadap setiap kegiatan bisnis.
-Pengawasan pemerintah harus lebih berani terhadap praktek
bisnis yang ada.
