Dari segi fasilitas kurang, buktinya masih ada kelas yang

disekat dan suasana kelas yang pengap. Tetapi kampus dua
jauh lebih baik karena tidak terkesan kotor seperti kampus
satu.
Kondisi sarana dan prasarana memang kurang
memungkinkan atau kurang ideal untuk
perkuliahan, bahkan bisa jadi sebuah kelas
yang lebar harus dibagi menjadi dua demi
mencukupi kekurangan kelas dan jam mengajar
yang padat.

Kita berusaha secepatnya, jadi kita mengusahakan
kondisi tempat perkuliahan yang memadai dan ideal
dengan perkuliahan. Hanya saja kondisi saat ini kita
harus berpuasa dulu. Tidak bisa kita memaksakan
langsung ideal, karena terbentur dengan waktu
KLASIFIKASI
Menurut Pusponegoro (2006), kejang demam dibagi menjadi dua jenis yaitu kejang demam sederhana dan
kompleks.

a. Kejang demam sederhana (Simple febrile seizure)

Kejang demam sederhana ini merupakan yang sering terjadi pada anak sekitar 80% diantara seluruh kejang
demam. Kejang demam ini berlangsung singkat, yaitu kurang dari 15 menit. Kejang ini umumnya akan berhenti
sendiri. Kejang ini berbentuk umum tonik dan atau klonik dengan tanpa gerakan fokal. Dalam waktu 24 jam kejang
tidak berulang.

b. Kejang demam kompleks (Complex febrile seizure)

Kejang demam kompleks merupakan kejang lama yang berlangsung lebih dari 15 menit atau berulang lebih
dari 2 kali atau lebih dalam 24 jam. Kejang lama ini terjadi pada 8% kejang demam dan kejang berulang terjadi pada
16% diantara anak yang mengalami kejang demam. Diantara bangkitan kejang anak tidak sadar. Kejang ini
merupakan kejang fokal (parsial satu sisi) atau kejang umum yang didahului dengan kejang parsial.
 PATOFISIOLOGI
Penyebab banyaknya infeksi yang terjadi di ekstrakranial seperti tonsillitis, bronkitis, ostitis media akut, dan
sebagainya merupakan bakteri yang bersifat toksik. Mikroorganisme menghasilkan toksik yang dapat menyebar ke
seluruh tubuh melalui hematogen maupun limfogen.Penyebaran toksik ke seluruh tubuh akan direspon oleh
hipotalamus dengan menaikkan suhu. Naiknya pengaturan suhu di hipotalamus merupakan tanda tubuh
mengalami bahaya secara sistemik. Bila pengaturan suhu di hipotalamus naik, maka akan merangsang kenaikan
suhu di bagian tubuh yang lain juga, seperti kulit, otot, sehingga terjadi peningkatan kontraksi otot.

Naiknya suhu ini akan disertai pengeluaran mediator kimia seperti epinefrin dan prostaglandin yang dapat
merangsang peningkatan potensial aksi pada neuron. Sehingga, kenaikan potensial aksi ini merangsang
perpindahan ion natrium dan kalium dari luar sel menuju ke dalam sel. Perpindahan ini dapat menaikkan fase
depolarisasi neuron dengan cepat sehingga timbul kejang. Selain itu, serangan cepat ini juga dapat menjadikan
anak mengalami respon penurunan kesadaran, anak beresiko terkena injuri karena otot ekstremitas dan bronkus
mengalami spasma, dan kelangsungan jalan napas terhambat karena penutupan lidah dan spasma bronkus.
PEMERIKSAAN DIAGNOSTIK
Pemeriksaan Diagnostik menurut Ismael (2016), terdapat beberapa yaitu pemeriksaan
laboraturium, pungsi lumbal, EEG, dan pencitraan. Pemeriksaan ini dijelaskan sebagai berikut:

→ Pemeriksaan laboratorium

Pemeriksaan laboratorium pada kejang demam tidak dikerjakan secara rutin, tetapi
dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi sumber infeksi penyebab terjadinya demam. Pemeriksaan
laboratorium ini dikerjakan atas indikasi darah perifer, elektrolit, dan gula darah.

→ Pungsi lumbal

Pemeriksaan cairan serebrospinal dilakukan untuk menegakkan atau menyingkirkan

kemungkinan terjadinya meningitis. Pemeriksaan pungsi lumbal tidak dilakukan secara rutin
pada anak berusia kurang dari 12 bulan yang mengalami kejang demam sederhana dengan

→ Elektroensefalografi (EEG)

Pemeriksaan EEG hanya dilakukan pada kejang demam yang bangkitan bersifat
fokal. Hal ini dilakukan untuk menentukan adanya fokus kejang otak yang
membutuhkan evaluasi lebih lanjut.

→ Pencitraan (CT scan atau MRI kepala)

Pemeriksaan neuroimaging (CT scan dan MRI kepala) tidak rutin dilakukan
kepada anak dengan kejang demam sederhana. Pemeriksaan ini dilakukan bila
terdapat indikasi kelainan neurologis fokal yang menetap, misalkan hemiparesis atau
paresis nervus kranialis.
