1. Stadium Oklusi Tuba Eustachius
● Gambaran retraksi membran timpani.
● Kadang-kadang membran timpani tampak normal (tidak
ada kelainan) atau berwarna keruh pucat.
● Efusi mungkin telah terjadi, tetapi tidak dapat dideteksi.

2. Stadium Hiperemis (Stadium Pre-Supurasi)

● Seluruh membran timpani tampak hiperemis serta edem.
● Sekret yang telah terbentuk masih bersifat eksudat yang
serosa => sehingga sukar terlihat.
3. Stadium Supurasi
● Membran timpani menonjol (bulging) ke arah liang telinga
luar
● Bila tidak dilakukan insisi membran timpani => membran
timani akan ruptur dan nanah keluar ke liang telinga luar
● Pasien tampak sangat sakit, nadi dan suhu meningkat,
serta rasa nyeri di telinga bertambah hebat.
4. Stadium Perforasi
● Ruptur membran timpani dan nanah keluar mengalir dari
telinga tengah ke liang telinga luar.
● Anak yang tadinya gelisah sekarang menjadi tenang,
suhu badan turun dan dapat tertidur nyenyak

5. Stadium Resolusi
● Bila membran timpani tetap utuh => membran timpani
perlahan-lahan akan normal kembali.
● Bila sudah terjadi perforasi => sekret akan berkurang dan
akhirnya kering.

Pencegahan OMA Pada Anak
Selain itu kita juga harus tahu cara pencegahnnya untuk meminimalisir kejadian dan juga faktor risiko Otitis
Media Akut (OMA) pada anak, yang bisa kita lakukan yaitu :

a.Pencegahan ISPA pada bayi dan anak – anak

b.Pemberian ASI pada anak selama minimal 6 bulan, sebab ASI juga sebagai imunitas pada anak

c.Penghindaran pemberian susu di botol pada saat anak berbaring untuk meminimalisir kejadian tersedak

d.Hindarkan anak dari asap rokok

e.Hindari pengeluaran mucus dengan paksaan/tekanan yang berlebihan

 Pengobatan OMA

 Kapan harus ke dokter?
Otitis media sering kali terjadi setelah anak terkena batuk pilek
atau flu
Batuk pilek sebenarnya tidak berbahaya dan tidak memerlukan
pengobatan khusus. Namun, segera ke dokter jika mengalami
perburukan dan disertai gejala:

Demam Sakit Kepala Hilang Nafsu Sakit Telinga Sesak Napas

 Pengobatan OMA
Pengobatan OMA bergantung kepada stadium penyakitnya

Stadium
· Stadium Oklusi → pengobatan bertujuan untuk membuka kembali tuba Eustachius.
Diberikan obat tetes hidung, dan sumber infeksi harus diobati.

· Stadium Hiperemis → Antibiotika, obat tetes hidung, dan analgetika.

· Stadium Supurasi → Antibiotika, idealnya harus dilakukan myringotomy.

· Stadium Perforasi → Obat cuci telinga H2O2 3% selama 3-5 hari, serta diberikan antibiotic.

· Stadium Resolusi → Sudah dalam proses penyembuhan.

Miringotomy
Tindakan insisi pada gendang telinga, agar
terjadi drainase/pengaliran cairan dari
telinga tengah ke liang telinga luar.
