Efek terapetik adalah hasil penanganan

diinginkan, setakar dengan tujuan
pemberian penanganan, baik yang telah
diperkirakan maupun yang tidak
diperkirakan.
 ~EFEK SAMPING~

Efek samping obat adalah reaksi tidak di

inginkan yang terjadi ketika kita mengonsumsi
suatu obat. Efek samping yang terjadi ini bisa
menambah parah penyakit yang diderita pasien,
bahkan hingga berujung kematian. Hal ini bisa
terjadi karena tenaga kesehatan lalai dalam
memeriksa kandungan obat yang dikonsumsi
pasien atau tidak teliti memeriksa kondisi
pasien.
*Contoh efek samping dari obat yang sering
muncul antara lain :
SAKIT KEPALA
“ Efek Ini sering muncul akibat konsumsi obat
jantung, terutama obat-obatan antiangina yang
bekerja dengan melebarkan pembuluh darah. Bagi
penderita sakit jantung, obat ini ampuh untuk
mencegah serangan jantung. Namun, efek yang
muncul bisa menyebabkan sakit hebat di kepala.
Bagaimanapun, ketika pilihannya adalah sakit kepala
atau meninggal karena serangan jantung, orang tentu
lebih memilih untuk menahan sakit kepala daripada
kehilangan nyawa.
 MUAL
Mengonsumsi obat jenis antibiotik, seperti eritromisin, antireumatik
dan fluorokuinolon, serta anti kanker bisa menimbulkan mual
yang mengganggu pada pemakainya. Salah satu cara yang bisa
dilakukan untuk mengatasinya adalah makan dulu sebelum
minum obat. Dengan begitu, lambung tidak akan langsung
menggerus obat yang masuk. Jika dirasa akan menganggu,
makan obat antimual satu jam sebelum makan dapat membantu.
 EFEK TOXIC
Toxicitas obat diartikan sebagai tingkat kerusakan yang dapat
disebabkan oleh suatu obat terhadap organisme. Efek toksik suatu
obat bergantung pada dosis dan dapat memengaruhi seluruh
sistem tubuh
