Kaitan dalam siklus kehidupan seksual:

• Pembelahan meiosis yang digunakan untuk
pembelahan yang berhubungan dalam fertilisasi,
menghasilkan 2 sel anakan bersifat diploid
• Fertilisasi proses penggabungan sperma dan sel
telur menjadi zigot (2n) dan menghasilkan zigot
yang normal.
Meiosis mereduksi jumlah kromosom
 Urutan generasi ke generasi atau dari tahap
ke tahap dari reproduksi dimulai dari
Siklus Hidup pembuahan sampai mengasilkan keturunan
sendiri.
Ex: siklus hiup pada manusia

● Dalam setiap generasi, terdapat jumlah kromosom

yang dihasilkan dari fertilisasi. Terdapat pembagi
dua kromosom yang di hasilkan dari meiosis, Pada
manusia terdapat kromosom dalam setiap sel
haploid adalah 23 (n=23) jumlah kromosom dalam
zigot diploid dan semua sel somatik berasal dari
zigot adalah 46 (2n=46)

kromosom terpanjang dihasilkan disebut Kariotipe
● Kedua kromosom menyusun satu pasangan memiliki
kesamaan panjang, posisi sentromer dan pola pewarnaan.
Disebut Kromosom homolog
● Kromosom homolog terdapat pada kromosom wanita (XX)
● Uuntuk menentukan jenis kelamin, X dan Y adalah kromosom
seks.
● Autosom adalah kromosom lainnya yang terdapat pada sel
tubuh(somatis) tidak berperan dalam pertumbuhan seks
● Genosom adalah Kromosom yang terdapat pada gamet
(kelamin)

Keberadaan pasangan kromosom homolog dalam sel somatik manusia akibat
mewarisi satu kromosom dari setiap pasang masing-masing orangtua.

46 kromosom dalam sel somatik manusia merupakan dua set kromosom yang
masing-masing terdiri atas 23 buah (satu set maternal dari ibu, dan satu set
paternal dari ayah).

Jumlah kromosom satu set diibratkan sebagai n.

Sel dengan dua set kromosom disebut sel diploid, disingkat 2n.
 Berbeda dengan sel somatic (tubuh), gamet (sperma dan sel telur)
mengandung satu set kromosom.

 Sel gamet disebut sel haploid, disingkat n.

 Pada manusia, jumlah haploid adalah 23.

 Set 23 kromosom terdiri atas 22 autosom dan satu kromosom sel

seks tunggal.
 Kromosom seks, yaitu sel telur
mengandung kromosom X, sedangkan
sperma mungkin mengandung X atau Y.

 Setiap spesies yang bereproduksi secara

seksual memiliki jumlah diploid dan
haploid yang khas.

 Contohnya lalat buah, dan anjing.

ibu, disebut pembuahan atau fertilisasi.

● Sel telur terfertilisasi menghasilkan zigot yang bersifat diploid karena mengandung dua set
kromosom haploid mengandung perwakilan garis keturunan maternal dari ibudan paternal dari
ayah.

● Kedua set kromosom dalam zigot dan semua gen yang dikandung oleh kromosom diwariskan
secara persis ke sel-sel tubuh manusia.
