 Tujuan penelitian

Tujuan umum dari penelitian yang dilakukan adalah untuk menganalisis terjadinya Mioma
uteri.
 Manfaat penelitian

Hasil penelitian ini dapat menambah pengetahuan dan menjadi data dasar atau penelitian
pendahuluan bagi penelitian selanjutnya yang sejenis atau terkait.
 Latar belakang masalah
Salah satu masalah reproduksi pada wanita adalah mioma uteri. Mioma uteri
atau fibroid uterus merupakan masalah kesehatan reproduksi yang dapat
menyebabkan morbiditas tinggi pada wanita usia subur dan secara signifikan dapat
mempengaruhi kualitas hidup penderita.

Penderita mioma uteri akan mengalami perdarahan yang banyak dan dapat
mengakibatkan anemia. Anemia adalah kondisi ketika tubuh mengalami penurunan
atau jumlah sel darah merah berada di bawah kisaran normal.,
Definisi mioma uteri
Mioma Uteri merupakan tumor jinak di daerah
rahim atau lebih tepatnya otot rahim dan jaringan
ikat di sekitarnya. Mioma tidak pernah ditemukan
sebelum terjadinya menstruasi, sedangkan setelah
menopause hanya sekitar 10% mioma masih
tumbuh.
Mioma uterus sering ditemukan pada wanita usia
subur (20-25%), dimana prevalensi mioma uteri
meningkat lebih dari 70% dengan pemeriksaan
patologis anatomi uterus, membuktikan bahwa
banyak wanita menderita mioma uterus
asimtomatik. Diperkirakan kejadian mioma uterus
sekitar 20%-30% dari semua wanita.
 Etiologi mioma uteri
Penyebab mioma uteri didasarkan pada beberapa teori yang menjelaskan faktor-faktor yang
mendukung terjadinya mioma uteri, seperti stimulasi estrogen, usia, paritas, dan usia saat
menarche .
Terdapat beberapa faktor yang dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan mioma uteri :
1. Estrogen, dua hormon yang merangsang perkembangan lapisan rahim selama setiap
siklus menstruasi dalam persiapan untuk kehamilan, tampaknya mendorong
pertumbuhan fibroid.
2. Perubahan Genetik, Banyak mioma yang terjadi disebabkan oleh perubahan gen yang
berbeda dari yang ada di sel otot rahim normal.
3. Faktor Pertumbuhan, Hal lainnya yang menyebabkan seseorang mengalami mioma
uteri adalah faktor pertumbuhan .
4. Pola Pertumbuhan yang Bervariasi, Gangguan tersebut dapat tumbuh perlahan atau
cepat, atau mungkin tetap pada ukuran yang sama.
 Manisfestasi klinis

 Perut terasa begah dan  Sering buang air kecil Gangguan reproduksi
membesar.
