Problem solver adalah kemampuan yang

dimiiki oleh seseorang berkaitan dengan
bagaimana memecahkan masalah (problem
solving). Seorang problem solver dalam hal ini
adalah pemimpin harus memiliki kreativitas
dalam memecahkan masalah dan
mengembangkan alternative penyelesaiannya
Lima tahapan berpikir kreatif menurut Ismara
(2009) adalah

 Menurut Flood (1991) TSI adalah "sebuah pendekatan
pemecahan masalah dalam setiap organisasi yang
berbentuk perusahaan dengan tujuan sistem
pemikiran holistic

Total Sistem Intervensi (TSI) adalah proses intervensi

organisasi yang "mengusulkan sebuah 'sistem
Penge metodologi sistem' yang dimaksudkan untuk
memfasilitasi pemilihan komplementer dari
rtian pendekatan sistem yang berbeda
TSI
 Filosofi
TSI pada awalnya diperkenalkan oleh Flood dan Jackson sebagai metodologi
yang dimaksudkan untuk memungkinkan praktisi manajer melakukan
operasionalisasi filosofi dan prinsip Critical Systems Thinking (CST).
Gerakan CST adalah berdasarkan lima komitmen: kesadaran kritis,
kesadaran sosial, complementarisme di tingkat teoritis, complementarisme
pada tingkat metodologis, dan komitmen untuk kesejahteraan manusia dan
emansipasi. Filosofi ini harus diwujudkan oleh mereka yang mengklaim
CST dalam kegiatan pemecahan masalah mereka. Namun, menempatkan
komitmen kompleks dalam praktik, bukan tugas yang sederhana. oleh
karena itu, TSI dikembangkan sebagai seperangkat pedoman metodologis
untuk mendukung usaha ini.
Fase TSI
1. Tahap kreativitas (Creativity)
Tahap kreativitas dirancang untuk memungkinkan para manajer dan
pemangku kepentingan lainnya berada situasi organisasi untuk berpikir kreatif
tentang memperbaiki usaha mereka
2. Tahap pemilihan (Choice)
Pada tahap pemilihan (Choice) adalah memilih satu atau satu set metodologi
"yang sesuai dengan karakteristik tertentu dari situasi organisasi.
3. Tahap implementasi (Implementation)
Tahap ini adalah untuk menetapkan rencana untuk mengatur penerapan
metodologi yang dipilih sesuai dengan tujuan yang disepakati
