Perhitungan rata-rata (𝑥𝑥̅) untuk data tunggal menggunakan rumus

Pembahasan
1. Tentukan nilai tengah dari setiap kelompok yang ada. Selanjutnya hitung jumlah nilai
kelompok dengan cara nilai tengah dikali frekuensi.

2. Hitung nilai rata-rata dengan cara jumlah nilai kelompok dibagi dengan total data tersebut.
3. Hitung simpangan setiap kelompok dengan cara mengkalikan frekuensi dengan kuadrat nilai tengah yang
dikurang rata-rata data.
4. Jumlah simpangan setiap kelompok dibagi dengan total data disebut varian.
Dapat disimpulkan, bahwa varians populasi digunakan untuk populasi keseluruhan, sementara varians sampel digunakan
ketika kita hanya memiliki data sampel atau ingin menghindari perhitungan yang sangat besar untuk populasi penuh.

i = bilangan asli: 1, 2, 3, .... N
xi = data ke - i (yang ada pada data tunggal)
xi = data tengah yang digunakan untuk setiap kelas (ada pada data kelompok)
Me = mean (nilai rata-rata)
N = jumlah data
fi = frekuensi atau banyaknya data pada kelas ke-i
