Kepercayaan diri merupakan suatu sikap atau perasaan yakin atas
kemampuan diri sendiri, dapat mengembangkan kesadaran diri, berpikir
positif, memiliki kemandirian, dan mempunyai kemampuan untuk memiliki
serta mencapai segala sesuatu yang diinginkan. Sikap percaya diri akan
menimbulkan keyakinan terhadap kemampuan siswa sehingga dapat
membantunya dalam memahami konsep khususnya pada materi sistem
reproduksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh
kepercayaan diri terhadap pemahaman siswa tentang konsep-konsep
sistem reproduksi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 4 Bekasi pada
bulan Mei dan Oktober 2013. Metode yang digunakan adalah Ex Post
Facto. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 100 siswa kelas XI IPA yang dipilih
dengan teknik sampel acak yang dikemudian diambil 27 siswa sebagai
kelompok tinggi dan 27 siswa sebagai kelompok rendah. Hasil uji
prasyarat dengan dengan Kolmogorov-Smirnov menunjukkan bahwa data
sampel berasal dari populasi yang berdistribusi normal selanjutnya
dilakukan uji homogenitas menggunakan Uji F dinyatakan bahwa varians
kedua kelompok adalah homogen. Hasil pengujian hipotesis
menggunakan uji t pada =0,05 menunjukkan bahwa thitung ttabel yaitu
3,95 1,67 maka tolak H0 yang berarti kepercayaan diri memiliki pengaruh
yang signifikan terhadap pemahaman siswa tentang konsep-konsep
sistem reproduksi.

Self-confident is a conviction towards ability of self. It can develop selfawareness, positive thinking, independence, and ability to own and
achieve everything desired. Self-confident will lead to conviction towards
the studentss ability and help comprehend the concepts, especially
concepts of reproductive system. The purpose of this research was to
analyze the effect of self-confident towards students comprehension
about concepts on reproductive system. This research was conducted in 4
State High School of Bekasi on May and October 2013. The method used
was Ex Post Facto. Samples of this research were 100 11 th grade students
chosen by random sampling and then 27 students taken as upper group
and 27 students taken as lower group. The result of perquisite test with
Kolmogorov-Smirnov showed sample data was obtained from normally
distributed population and then homogeny test with F test showed varians
of two groups were homogenous. The result of hypothesis test with t test
(=0,05) indicated tcalculation ttabel was 3,95 1,67 so H 0 was rejected.
According to the test, it could be inferred that self-confident had an effect
towards students comprehension about concepts on reproductive system.
