 TUJUAN DAFTAR INDIKATOR UTAMA TIK

 Sebagai panduan bagi negara-negara yang akan

memulai pengumpulan indikator TIK :
 Mencerminkan prasyarat untuk memperoleh manfaat dari TIK
 Para pihak (terutama regulator, kementerian/departemen,
operator dan pihak kunci lain) dapat memiliki fokus yang sama
tentang indikator yang penting
 Memberikan landasan untuk mengembangkan
statistik yang dapat diperbandingkan secara
internasional menyangkut masyarakat informasi (the
information society).
 Awal untuk pengembangan selanjutnya dan
penambahan indikator statistik yang penting bagi
perbaikan kebijakan sejalan dengan perkembangan/
pengalaman yang diperoleh setiap negara.
