Assalamualaikum w.r.t dan salam sehati sejiwa saya ucapkan.

Terlebih dahulu marilah kita memanjatkan rasa kesyukuran kepada Allah SWT kerana diberi
ruang dan kesempatan untuk menyiapkan serta menerbitkan handbook terbitan kedua 2017 hasil
sumbangan serta kolaboratif tenaga pengajar Jabatan Akademik dan Jabatan Vokasional sebagai
saluran informasi kontemporasi mengenai program dan perkhidmatan yang ditawarkan.

Dalam memenuhi dan menjayakan Transformasi Pendidikan Negara , Kolej Vokasional Sepang
turut berusaha menerbitkan Handbook ibarat buku panduan bergerak dengan memasukkan semua
informasi yang tepat tanpa merujuk banyak pihak bagi memastikan kesahihannya. Usaha sebegini
tentunya memerlukan kolaboratif padu semua pihak yang sentiasa komited melakukan usaha
berterusan bagi memupuk minat dan kecenderungan pelajar dalam bidang kemahiran dan
pembangunan modal insan untuk bersaing dalam pasaran kerja global.

Rentetan itu saya berharap handbook ini akan menjadi sumber rujukan pelbagai pihak tentang
kursus yang ditawarkan di Kolej Vokasional Sepang. Akhir kata saya ingin merakamkan jutaan terima
kasih kepada semua pihak yang terlibat secara langsung ataupun tidak dalam menyiapkan handbook

Unit Perhubungan dan Latihan Industri (UPLI) adalah unit sokongan akademik yang bertanggungjawab
menguruskan program on-the-job-training (OJT) / latihan industri pelajar. OJT adalah salah satu syarat
wajib bagi pelajar program Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) di semua Kolej Vokasional, ILKA ILKS dan
IPTA yang melaksanakan program tersebut. Bidang tugas utama unit ini merangkumi pengurusan
permohonan tempat latihan, membantu pelajar membuat persediaan sebelum latihan, pemantauan latihan
dan penilaian latihan semasa dan setelah tamat latihan. Unit ini dibantu oleh beberapa orang ahli
jawatankuasa dan penyelaras OJT / latihan industri di peringkat program masing-masing.

Objektif unit:
(a) Memastikan semua pelajar yang layak berjaya mendapat tempat untuk menjalani latihan industri
(b) Menyelia para pelajar, dengan kerjasama PPO dan PP, bagi memastikan para pelajar yang
berkenaan memenuhi semua kriteria untuk lulus latihan industri
(c) Berusaha agar hubungan dengan syarikat / agensi / organisasi latihan dapat dikekalkan, selain
daripada mengenalpasti dan menambah bilangan hubungan persefahaman dengan syarikat /
agensi / organisasi yang baru.

Objektif OJT:
(a) Mengaplikasi pengetahuan dan kemahiran berkaitan di tempat kerja
(b) Berkomunikasi secara berkesan dengan pelbagai peringkat
(c) Mengamalkan kerja berpasukan
(d) Meningkatkan tahap profesionalisme dan beretika dalam mematuhi dasar-dasar, prosedur dan
kaedah-kaedah di dalam organisasi
Menerangkan tugas-tugas yang diberikan dalam tempoh OJT mengikut format yang ditetapkan
10.0 JABATAN PENTAKSIRAN DAN PENILAIAN

Unit Pentaksiran dan Penilaian bertanggungjawab menyediakan jadual penilaiandan pentaksiran


untuk setiap semester. Jabatan ini merancang dan menubuhkan JKPembinaan Item dan skema
pemarkahan mengikut program. Selain itu, jabatan ini jugabertanggungjawab memproses keputusan
pentaksiran berterusan (PB) dan penilaianakhir (PA) untuk mendapatkan keputusan keseluruhan pelajar.
Di samping itu, jabatanini juga menguruskan kaedah dan bentuk pelaporan keputusan penilaian
danpentaksiran.

10.1 SISTEM MATA PENGREDAN

Di kolej vokasional penilaian prestasi pelajar adalah berdasarkan sistem mata penggredan
iaitu Purata Nilai Gred (PNG) dan Purata Nilai Gred KPmulatif (PNGK). Keputusan pentaksiran
pelajar di penghujung setiap semester di sertakan dengan PNG dan PNGK yang memberikan
gambaran tentang pencapaian pelajar.Kaedah penilaian pelajar dari segi jangka masa, kepelbagaian,
pemberatan, kriteria dan liputannya di dokumen dan disampaikan kepada pelajar melalui:

1. Hebahan secara lisan oleh staf akademik serta mengedarkan course outline kepada
pelajar semasa sesi perkuliahan di awal semester.

2. Kaedah penilaian disampaikan kepada pelajar melalui :

a. Taklimat Peperiksaan
b. Taklimat Program
c. Taklimat Projek Tahun Akhir
d. Taklimat Latihan Industri

11.1 UNIT HAL EHWAL PELAJAR

11.2 UNIT SUKAN DAN KO-KURIKULUM

Unit ini merancang, mengurus, memantau dan menilai program sukan, ko-akademik dan
kokurikulum yang ditubuhkan di kolej bagi mencapai objektif yang ditetapkan oleh pihak BPTV.
Unit ini juga berfungsi untuk memastikan kemudahan dan perkhidmatan sukan dan peralatan
memenuhi keperluan program. Di samping itu, unit ini juga memberi khidmat pakar semasa
bertugas sebagai jurulatih/pegawai dalam kursus yang dianjurkan oleh KPM. Penglibatan dalam
bidang ko-kurikulum memberi peluang kepada pelajar untuk memgembangkan bakat dan
kebolehan di samping membentuk sahsiah yang tinggi kepada pelajar. Bagi mencapai tahap
yang sedemikian, komitmen yang tinggi, inovasi dan kreativiti amat diperlukan dari tenaga
penagajar dan pelajar. Setiap aktiviti yang dijalankan haruslah meliputi beberapa elemen-elemen
penting seperti kemampuan )zikal, emosi, semangat yang tinggi dan inteletual di mana semua
aspek-aspek telah ditekankan dalam Falsafah Pendidikan Negara.Unit Sukan dan Kokurikulum
bertanggungjawab dalam:
i. Menguruskan aktiviti sukan dan kokurikulum di dalam kolej dan di luar kolej.
ii. Merancang dan memastikan aktiviti sukan dan kokurikulum dapat dijalankan dengan
baik dan berkesan.
iii. Memantau dan merekod pencapaian atlet.
iv. Mengurus dan mengekal aktiviti sukan dan korikulum yang dijalankan.
v. Membangunkan kemampuan individu dari segi semangat, fizikal dan inteketual.

Konsep

Unit Psikologi dan Kerjaya (UPK) sebagai salah satu sistem sokongan untuk pembangunan pelajar
di mana UPK akan sentiasa bersedia untuk membantu serta membimbing pelajar menghadapi cabaran
hidup yang sentiasa wujud dalam kehidupan seharian. Fungsi dan peranan UPK adalah
bertanggungjawab kepada 4 aspek utama iaitu Pembangunan, Pencegahan, Pemulihan dan Intervensi di
mana ia berkait rapat dengan kefungsian konsep psikologikal kepada manusia. UPK juga berperanan
membantu ke arah perkembangan warga kolej yang sejahtera emosi, pemikiran, fizikal, spiritual dan
sosial agar dapat berfungsi dengan baik dan dapat menyumbang ke arah kecemerlangan KV sepang

Objektif perkhidmatan Unit Psikologi dan Kerjaya (UPK ) di kolej adalah sebagai satu perkhidmatan yang
mesra, selesa dan kondusif kepada pelajar untuk menyuarakan permasalahan mereka seterusnya dibantu

Perkhidmatan kaunseling dijalankan oleh oleh guru kaunseling menerusi bimbingan individu, bimbingan
kelompok, kaunseling individu dan kaunseling kelompok.
Bimbingan akademik yang meliputi kemahiran belajar.
Memberikan bantuan kaunseling kepada pelajar dari semasa ke semasa
Mendedahkan pelajar kepada prospek kerjaya selepas belajar
Konsultasi keibubapaan.

11.4 UNIT PUSAT SUMBER


Unit ini bertanggungjawab menyediakan kemudahan sumber rujukan kepada pelajar dan
warga KVS. Pusat Sumber KVS ini boleh menampung 160 pelajar dalam satu masa. Pusat
sumber ini dilengkapi dengan pelbagai kemudahan dan susun atur yang menarik. Antara

11.5 UNIT PENGURUSAN ASRAMA
Pengenalan
Kolej Kediaman merupakan sebahagian daripada komponen utama di dalam institut pengajian tinggi yang
menyediakan kemudahan penginapan dan makanan serta mengadakan aktiviti-aktiviti pembangunan
pelajar di KV Sepang.
Unit Pengurusan Asrama (UPA ) bertanggungjawab sepenuhnya dalam hal ehwal pelajar-pelajar yang
mendiami Kolej Kediaman Putera dan Puteri
Fungsi / Peranan
Unit Pengurusan Asrama (UPA ) bertanggungjawab dalam urusan berikut:

Kemudahan fizikal

Kemudahan yang disediakan ialah:


i. 3 Unit Blok Kediaman Putera yang mempunyai kapasiti menampung 450 orang pelajar
ii. 2 Unit Blok Kediaman Puteri yang mempunyai kapasiti menampung 300 orang pelajar .
iii. Sebuah Dewan Makan Az Zahrawi yang mempunyai kapasiti menampung 700 orang
pelajar.
iv. Sebuah Surau Al Khawarizmi yang mampu menampung jemaah seramai 500 orang
dan telah mendapat kelulusan melaksanakan Solat Jumaat.
v. 1 Unit Kafe Siber yang menawarkan perkhidmatan internet berbayar dengan
caj RM 2 sejam
vi. 1 Unit Pejabat Penyelia Asrama yang melaksanakan operasi pengurusan dan
penyenggaraan prasarana di kolej kediaman

Kemudahan ini bermatlamat untuk :

Memberi kemudahan tempat tinggal kepada pelajar baru dan yang datang dari kawasan luar
serta tidak berkemampuan dari segi kewangan.
Menjaga keselamatan pelajar daripada masalah sosial seperti melakukan perbuatan yang luar
daripada pandangan dan kawalan ibubapa.
Melatih pelajar mendisiplinkan diri dari segi mental dan fizikal serta menyemaikan sikap
berdikari dan bertolak ansur.

Unit Pengurusan Kualiti berperanan dalam urusan berikut:


1. Membentuk dan melantik Sekretariat Pengurusan Kualiti Kolej Vokasional Sepang (KVS).
2. Menyelaras, memantau, memberi cadangan penambahbaikan dan menjadi sumber
rujukan dalam proses penyediaan dokumen akreditasi MQA.
3. Merancang dan mengawalselia pelaksanaan aktiviti Penjaminan Kualiti 4P
4. Memberi bimbingan ( coaching and mentoring ) pengurusan kualiti latihan, pendidikan
dan program sokongan kualiti.
5. Menyebarluas amalan kepimpinan terbaik di semua peringkat pengurusan KVS bagi
peningkatan profesionalisme melalui maklumbalas pelanggan dan aduan pelanggan.
6. Merancang, menyelaras, memantau, melaksana dan mengawal selia program dan
perkhidmatan tidak akur, pembetulan, pencegahan dan penambaikan program dan
aktiviti kolej.
7. Merancang, mengawalselia, dan memantau pelaksanaan Program Amalan Berkualiti 5S
di KV.
8. Merancang, mengurus dan mengawalselia program Kesedaran Keselamatan dan
Kesihatan Pekerjaan ( OHSAS - Occupation Health And Safety Assessment Series for
