Model Palopo dalam menulis teks pidato yaitu (a) penggandaan subjek, (b) antara
predikat dan objek yang tersisipi, (c) penggunaan konjungsi yang berlebihan, (d)
penggunaan kata tanya yang tidak perlu, dan (e) penggunaan istilah Asing. Jadi
kesalahan yang dilakukan oleh siswa kelas IX MTs Negeri Model Palopo dalam
menulis teks pidato adalah sebelas. Enam kesalahan pembentukan frasa dan lima
kesalahan pembentukan kalimat.
ABSTRACT
ESSE. 2017. Analysis of Syntax Mistakes in Writing Speech Text of Class IX Students
at MTs Negeri Model Palopo (supervised by Johar Amir and Juanda).
The research aims to describes: (1) the errors of forming phrase in writing
speech text of class IX students at MTs Negeri Model Palopo; (2) the errors of
forming sentence in writing speech text of class IX students at MTs Negeri Model
Palopo.The research is qualitative research. The data of the research were speech
text. The data sources of the research were the students compositions in form of
speech texts of class IX students at MTs Negeri Model Palopo. The data of the
research were collected by using observation reading, note taking, and interview
technique. The data analysis was conducted through note taking, data identification,
data classification, data explanation, and data evaluation. The results of the research
reveal that: 1) there are six mistakes in forming phrase conducted by class IX students
at MTs Negeri Model Palopo in writing speech text, namely (a) the utilization of
inappropriate prepositions, (b) arrangement fault element, (c) the utilization of
excessive elements, (d) the deletion of the preposition of from, (e) the deletion of the
preposition of with, (f) double pluralize; 2) there are five mistakes in forming
sentence conducted by class IX students at MTs Negeri Model Palopo in writing
speech text, namely (a) subject multiplication, (b) insertion between predicate and
object, (c) the utilization of redundant excessive conjunction, (d) the utilization of
unnecessary question mark, and (e) the utilization of Foreign term. Thus, there are
eleven mistakes conducted by class IX students at MTs Negeri Model Palopo in
writing speech text, consisted of six mistakes in forming phrases and five mistakes in
forming sentences.
