Seasons come to us regularly. We have probably noticed that it gets warmer in summer or dry
season while it get colder in the winter or wet season. However do we know how these seasons
change?
Seasons happen and change every year. This happens because the earth tilts back and forth as it
goes around the sun. During the summer, the earth tilts toward the sun. It makes half of the earth
hotter. this condition is what we call summer. During the other half of the year, the earth tilts
away from the sun. As a result, it makes that half of the earth cooler. This cool condition is then
what we call winter.
The different parts of the world have the same season at different times. In the northern the world
have winter during the months of June, July and August. The regions are like South America and
Australia. How does this difference happen? The same season happens at different times because
the top and bottom halves of the earth tilt away from the sun at different times.
The daerah seperti Amerika Selatan dan
Australia.

If we talk about the Wonders of the World buildings, then we will see Eiffel Tower as one of
them. However many of us do not know the tower’s past history on why it was build. Everything
has the reasonable background, especially for the tower which is to be one of the most
recognized buildings in the world.
Primarily, the Eiffel Tower was built for the World Exhibition. It was called Paris Exposition in
1889. The exhibition was organized to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the French Revolution.
The purpose of building Eiffel Tower in such structure was to show to the world France’s
advancement of technology and beauty. The Eiffel Tower was designed by Gustave Eiffel. It
seemed that then the name of the tower was derived from the designer’s last name, “Eiffel”
Another reason on why the tower was built was for scientific progress. Although few realized it,
the Eiffel Tower would become the prominent structure in terms of science and technology.
Many experiment with temperature, pressure and pendulums were performed atop the unique
famous building. Additionally the Eiffel Tower was used for radio transmission tower. Many
experiments were conducted atop the Eiffel Tower for radio transmission advancement. Once the
Eiffel Tower was proposed to be demolished but it was spared because the tower had the
promising future as a radio tower.
Mengapa Menara Eiffel dibangun
dilakukan diatas bangunan terkenal unik. Selainitu Menara Eiffel digunakan untuk menara
transmisiradio. Banyak eksperimen dilakukan diatas Menara Eiffel untuk kemajuan transmisi
radio.

Rain is the primary source of fresh water for most areas of the world, providing suitable
conditions for diverse ecosystems, as well as water for hydroelectric power plants and crop
irrigation.
The phenomenon of rain is actually a water circle. The concept of the water cycle involves the
sun heating the Earth’s surface water and causing the surface water to evaporate. The water
vapor rises into the Earth’s atmosphere.
The water in the atmosphere cools and condenses into liquid droplets. The droplets grow until
they are heavy and fall to the earth as precipitation which can be in the form of rain or snow.
However, not all rain reaches the surface. Some evaporates while falling through dry air. This is
called virga, a phenomenon which is often seen in hot, dry desert regions.
Bagaimana hujan terjadi?

Tsunami
In Indonesia, we are very familiar with the word " Tsunami ". This natural disaster has ever
killed thousands of lives in Banda Aceh a few years ago. Indonesia mourned, the world mourned.
Then, how the Tsunami happens? Here is a brief explanation of the process of how the Asian
tsunami happens.
Tsunamis can occur if there is a phenomenon which causes the displacement of large amounts of
water in the ocean, such as volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, landslides, and meteors that fall to
Earth. However, 90% of tsunamis is the result of underwater earthquakes.
Vertical movement in the Earth's crust in the bottom of the ocean causes a sudden up or down
movement of sea floor which then causes the water balance disorders above it. This disturbance
causes the occurrence of the flow of the massive sea water energy, that once it reaches the shore,
it becomes huge waves resulting Tsunami.
Tsunami
Indonesia berduka,
dunia berduka. Lalu, bagaimanakah proses terjadinya Tsunami? Berikut ini adalah penjelasan
singkat tentang proses bagaimanakah Tsunami terjadi.
Rainbow
Almost everyone very likes a natural phenomenon called the rainbow. To the extent that a lot of
people create an art work like song, cake, and the other work after seeing the beautiful colors of
the rainbow. But, do you know how the phenomenon of the appearance of the rainbow happens?
Rainbow occurs because of the refraction of light. The sunlight that shines in between the rain
drops is refracted by the rain drops. This process separates the white light of the sunlight into a
spectrum of different colors. The spectrum of colors are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo,
and violet. Or what we often memorize as the abbreviation "ROY G BIV / mejikuhibiniu.” Then
the colors reflect in the back drops of rain, resulting the light which looks arched and becomes
the rainbow.
Pelangi
Full Moon
A full moon is the lunar phase that occurs when the Moon is completely illuminated as seen from
the Earth. This occurs when the moon is in opposition to the Sun (when it is on the opposite side
of the Earth from the Sun; more precisely, when the ecliptic longitudes of the Sun and Moon
differ by 180 degrees).[1] This means that the hemisphere of the Moon that is facing the Earth
(the near side) is almost fully illuminated by the Sun and appears round (while the far side is
almost completely unilluminated).
Lunar eclipses can occur only at full moon, where the Moon’s orbit allows it to pass through the
Earth’s shadow. Lunar eclipses do not occur every month because the Moon usually passes
above or below the Earth’s shadow (which is mostly restricted to the ecliptic plane). Lunar
eclipses can occur only when the full moon occurs near the two nodes of the orbit, either the
ascending or descending node. This causes eclipses to only occur about every 6 months, and
often 2 weeks before or after a solar eclipse at new moon at the opposite node.
The time interval between similar lunar phases—the synodic month—averages about 29.53 days.
Therefore, in those lunar calendars in which each month begins on the new moon, the full moon
falls on either the 14th or 15th of the lunar month. Because calendar months have a whole
number of days, lunar months may be either 29 or 30 days long.

Bulan Purnama

Tornado
Tornadoes are associated with large (supercell) thunderstorms that often grow to over 40,000
feet. A column of warm humid air will begin to rise very quickly. How Do Tornadoes Form?
1. Air Rotates Because of Wind Shear.
How the column of air begins to rotate is not completely understood by scientists, but one way
the rotation appears to happen is when winds at two different altitudes blow at two different
speeds creating wind shear. For example, a wind at 1000 feet above the surface might blow at
5mph and a wind at 5000 feet might blow at 25mph. This causes a horizontal rotating column of
air.
2. Faster Spin Makes a Funnel Cloud.
If this column gets caught in a supercell updraft, the updraft tightens the spin and it speeds up
(much like a skater’s spins faster when arms are pulled close to the body. A funnel cloud is
created.
3. The Funnel Rotates and Touches Down.
The rain and hail in the thunderstorm cause the funnel to touch down creating a tornado.

Angin Tornado
25mph. Hal ini menyebabkan horisontal berputar kolom udara.
2. cepat Spin membuat corong awan.
tornado.

Honey
Everybody likes honey. Even, it can be a medicine for most deseases. How is Honey Made?
Honeybees use nectar to make honey. Nectar is almost 80% water with some complex sugars. In
fact, if you have ever pulled a honeysuckle blossom out of its stem, nectar is the clear liquid that
drops from the end of the blossom.
In North America, bees get nectar from flowers like clovers, dandelions, berry bushes and fruit
tree blossoms. They use their long, tubelike tongues like straws to suck the nectar out of the
flowers and they store it in their “honey stomachs”.
Bees actually have two stomachs, their honey stomach which they use like a nectar backpack and
their regular stomach. The honey stomach holds almost 70 mg of nectar and when full, it weighs
almost as much as the bee does. Honeybees must visit between 100 and 1500 flowers in order to
fill their honeystomachs.

Madu
Semua orang suka madu.
Bagaimana Apakah madu dibuat?
Lebah madu menggunakan nektar untuk membuat madu. Nektar adalah hampir 80% air dengan
beberapa gula kompleks.
